P&T have a quite big fanbase in France, so definitely no. I would say DJ Wheat/Mr Bitter come after, and Tastosis in last(i realy can't enjoy them, ive tried a lot of times, i don't deny their game knowledge or anything, but you know it just does not suit me). Browse all the Thread and you'll see posts saying"WOw French casters are realy into it" or "They know how to work a crowd", all being by foreign people, whereas in some cases you'll see french comments like "I can't stand the non stop yelling" or "They are obviously lacking game knowledge". I didn't say they were bad (re-read my post), i actually think they're pretty good for the reasons you say. My point was that if french people switched to TB/Apollo during Iron Squid, it was NOT necessarily because they were bad. And moreover, different people enjoy different kind of casters. You seem not to like much tastosis, yet they have a lot of fans. It may be preferences for such or such casters, it may be preference for english over french, but not necessarily because they're bad casters, who they aren't, seeing the number of fans they have.
One thing I'm gonna say, from all the live events I've seen or commentated, there is not a single casting team in the entire world that seems to get the crowd as riled as P&T. I've seen 3 P&T commentated events now, ESWC, OGaming and Iron Squid. Each one of them was NUTS. I attended OGaming live, didn't exactly understand much of what was being said but the atmosphere just blew everything else away. Dreamhack isn't as hyped as that was, MLG isn't as hyped. They have a way with the crowd that nobody else has, when you go to a P&T event it's an EVENT, it's a full on entertainment spectacle. The boundless enthusiasm those two put out is impossible to resist and no other casters in the world are showmen like those guys are.
They're definitely doing something very very right. Even if it only appeals to a certain demographic, well that's every caster in a nutshell, we all have our fans and detractors, we all appeal to some people and not others, even Day9 and Tastosis have this issue, no-one is loved by all from a casting perspective.

We are lucky enough to have an impressive pool of casters, we just have to choose the duo we like the most.
That said, i like tournaments where casters are constantly switching(hearing the same voice tone for 6 hours straight annoys me).
I remember a tournament where LiquidHero won(maybe Dreamhack Winter 2011, i don't remember), you guys were constantly switching, breaking traditionals duo and forming new ones, two would shoutcast while the others will stay on the couch to give their impression after the match, that was the greatest formula ever.

That was Dreamhack Winter. There were 3 main casting teams, we did "break" the teams at points mostly because the schedule was hell and 4/6 casters were ill by the end of it. Artosis lost his voice at one point so Apollo went to cast with Tasteless while I cast with TLO for instance. Finals was all 3 casting teams, RO4 match 1 me and Apollo, RO4 match 2 Day9+Bitter, Finals Tastosis, with the other casters on the couch.
Just fyi

Symbol would have been dead hadn't he been lucky to find out. why is that problematic? he scouted it after both raxes were almost done and after he had already invested in hatch first (a build a proxy 2-rax is intended to punish). what other opening is zerg supposed to use against terran? u cannot scout a 2 rax in time to do anything other than hatch first, symbol got a 13 pool and STILL couldnt prevent a bunker. how is that not problematic? even if he had opened 14/14, mma would see no expo, lift his rax, drop a cc, build a bunker or two, and still be ahead. i see no problem with terrans abusing zerg's apparent inability to innovate. Ya, zergs really should innvoate their entire game plan 3 minutes in the game. There are countless unexplored options before 16 supply. down 1-3 on a cross-positions map against MMA. dont play the safest early build (pool first). yeah, still not feeling too much pity. You seem to fit right in with the rest of them. That's where the people who haven't had the game installed on their computers for 1½ year, but still feel entilted to give theoretically revolutionary advice, go to circlejerk. oh, i am terribly offended. you said i am in bronze league? yet, i am not. i have been masters since the game came out. am i good? no. i have seen you play as well. do i feel the need to say how bad you are considering you devote your time to this game? not really.
you think i am giving advice? yet, i am not. all i said was that someone going proxy 2-rax against a hatch first build is likely going to do some damage to counter the morons who continue to imply that its some imbalanced matchup. i also said that predicting a cheese in a 1-3 score on a cross-positions map is probably a good idea. and, alas, i was right in this circumstance.
thanks for contributing though.

I would just like to say thank you to the organisers of the Iron Squid tournament, for putting on such an entertaining tournament. You had quality invited players, the best French and English casters and it all came together with great panache in the Final Tournament this weekend. Hopefully this has proven profitable and enjoyable enough for you to continue hosting SC2 competitions because this was really well done, especially for a first try.
I now regard IronSquid as a by-word for a quality SC2 Tournament that Europe can be proud of, alongside Dreamhack, Assembly and IEM. Take a bow!

What a great venue and atmosphere I certainly enjoyed the tournament and was blown away by how epic it was! Great interview with MMA, and I hope to see less laggy streams in the future Ironsquid is a new contender IMO, and can be proud of their content!

I understand your point of view. When i watched the online games of iron squid, i always looked for Apollo and TB. But on live P&T was the perfect match. That was awesome because the crowd loves them and they make us feel the game. A live event is rally different from a stream and they did how they had to do for a live event imo.

I can only echo this, after having attended this aMMAzing event with only fairly limited French skills. I really regret only having a couple of years of French class under the belt. Not to mention it has also been quite awhile ago. Yet for my mate and myself this event was simply incredible, the casters got the crowd so insanely riled up, holy shit P&T you guys rock, aswell as ZeratoR, An0ss & MoMaN actually. Great to see the fans cheering almost as loud as for the players when you all arrived. Aswell as already going nuts at the first blood of every single game, and once the real action started just plain going berzerk! I have to admit it was our first big event (so i cant personally compare to others) but in the end we were also chanting like the rest of the crowd. Yet almost everytime when the answers from the players got translated it went almost deadly silent, only to burst out in cheers after hearing the banter/taunting. The games were all very entertaining, and too many great moments to mention. I'm gonna fully watch back the vods for sure to relive the experience though! We also had a very friendly French fan sitting next to us who kindly translated some interviews and such, shoutout to you man <3 The cinema-screen wasnt only huge but also so freaking crispy clear, imagine 1080+ but on a screen over 9000 times bigger, damn. I really loved the live music aswell, starting with the DJ on the balcony before the show and then the live music by both In Uchronia and Mr Vert/Green. Mad props to everyone else involved to the production of this incredible tournament aswell, was great to finally meet some of you aswell! What a great way to end this, i'm already looking forwards to Iron Squid #2. Which i'm sure will be even bigger and better, eventhough at this point this might seem hard to believe. =)
