No, you can place them anywhere. Haven't you played promaps like medusa? You can put them on ramps if you really wanted. Or stack them. As long as it is a unit sprite owned by p12. There are plenty of articles with in depth guides on how to add interesting things like this on BWMN, but try not to use them for the sake of using them it or it will be gimmicky. Definitely better, but I think the ramps can be even narrower (maybe 1 or 2 sizes above the smallest at maximum). |

In Harena you need both highgrounds to control movement, and that would be really hard because you would be pretty spread out.
Just checking, you're talking about the old Beltway 1.1 right?

terran can crawl with tanks and take 5 bases and set up camp there. if p/z tries to take more than 5 maps they need to take the middle ones that are easily vult harassed and terran can outsustain the pushes if this goes so. i mean while it looks wider it is technically easier to set up mech camp than on destination |

any, but i think the safest high ground corner third,due to wide ramp is still pretty easy to brute force for terrans, making midgame zvt very hard |
