| I'm confused. People are able to pay to enter instead of some sort of qualifier? Is this resulting in amateurs entering and not some pros? Apologies for my ignorance, just unfamiliar with this situation. |

Tournament size has more to do with time. They really can't fit more people within their 2 1/2 day time period for the tournament.
As I understand it MLG first makes a private offering of passes to top tier players, then to gold members, then to the general public. | if u were a player that was not already a gold member then i dunno i guess too sad? and if u are apart of a team, i would assume there should have been ways for team management to get a competitor pass for all the players on your team that needed one. |

So incredibly pissed off with MLG, this is total bullshit, i saw that it was going out to gold members, so i figured, hey i'll buy a gold membership so i can ensure that i get to play, but no you can't buy them anymore, MLG can go fuck themselves with this type of bullshit, i was ready and waiting but get excluded from the only MLG i'll ever have the time or availability.
What is this garbage, reserving passes for the US qualifiers, despite the obvious amount of double up and the insane and stupid unfairness this creates for canadians, i'm incredibly upset about the way this was run, what is this garbage.

All of a sudden Gold's get 24 Hour early access, a lot of people like myself run out and blow $30 on Gold, Passes Sell-Out in 10 Seconds, screwing over all the Non-Golds completely, and also screwing over everyone who ran out and bought gold. This is just bad business
If MLG really had barley any passes left because of the reserve they should of told us that |

not a heavily funded team, it's not like incontrol and machine are sitting around waiting for 7pm so they can buy their passes |
