[BW] SKT 1:0 KT
[BW] SKT 2:0 KT

[SC2] SKT 3:1 KT
[SC2] SKT 4:1 KT
SKT wins 4-1.

I presume this means that the finals will follow the same format as the normal season. What does the "Best of 3" mean? If KT 3-0s in the BW half and goes 1-2 in the SC2 half, does that mean an Ace because they won BW and lost SC2? Or does it mean there are 6 bo3s, each for a point, like in some SC2 teamleagues?
I had to think about it too when I read Bo3. However I came to the same conclusion as your first one in that Games 1-3 counts in a self contained set while sets 4-6 count as a another contained set. And then goes to ace match when one loses BW and wins Sc2 or vice versa.
The reason why having every game Bo3 makes no sense is that OGN does not have time for that. |

| VERY interesting format they ended up with. SC2 gets the 4 games, so no team can just brute force their way through proleague with current BW skills. But at the same time, BW getting the first 3 sets means the majority of games in the season will still probably be BW. |

| Making ace only SC2 is a terrible, terrible decision. A single match in a game the players have no familiarity with just kills the excitement. We could be having epic Flash vs. Fantasy in BW, instead we'll simply get another mediocre game. |

| Ugh, inter-series game switching confirmed to be required. That's going to be a disaster. Looking forward to seeing Flash be mediocre at SC2 while somehow still being as good in BW. |
