That was a pretty awesome TvT. Really decisive play and those little marine splits to snipe the tanks were very pretty. Seems like this guy has played some RTS before . |

Sorry to burst your bubble, 50% winrate at high-masters on Korea is absolutely not mediocre lol.
For you, yes, but for people who is actually playing the game competitively, 55% is pretty normal. For all the hype he got, this early vods is quite underwhelming.
Are you dumb or what? BW players are practicing both SC2 and SC1:BW and do you know how damn tough it is to focus on 2 games that are so different in terms of graphics, gameplay and strategy. Even IMMVP said that it is unfair for BW players because they have to focus on both BW and SC2 for the upcoming Proleague. Don't be naive and speak some sense please. Flash getting a 55% winrate is pretty good for someone who just started playing the game recently and practicing both BW and SC2.
Don't make excuses for him. We all know 55% is nothing for a pro SC2 player. Maybe we'll see better in the coming months, but hailing him as a god already just makes you a blind BW fanboy. |

I would love nothing more than having some guy simply being astonishing in SC2 because he is naturally insanely talented in the game and practices hard and simply cannot be beaten because of that combination. I love that kind of thing in general, no matter what sport that is. Usain Bolt is one of the very few people that comes to mind. However, regarding SC2 Flash is still pretty far from Usain Bolt. Let's check again in 6 months and maybe then we'll be closer. And if so, I will be a big fan. |

Flash's efficiency is what really impressed me. If you look at his resources bar, he is almost always finding ways to spend his gas and minerals. He also beat apocalypse, and seems to be on the road to domination. Also, I don't know why people keep complaining that he is too slow...
Although Flash was originally known for having superb macro mechanics, he is not a particularly fast player (APM in the low 300s). Rather, Flash's decision making is a more pressing reason why many players try not to get into a protracted macro game with him. Flash's timing, builds, and ability to detect cheese, all reflect a deep understanding of the game -Liquidpedia

It's funny, Flash is playing SC2 since a month, we get a FPVOD. Flash played BW for multiples years, no FPVOD anywhere |

| I don't think you can really distinguish yourself as a macro/mechanics type player in SCII anyway. Flash is known for his perfect game sense and decision making. He's the sort of player that will detect a ling/lurker bust by counting lings and notice they're off by 2 or 4. Of course his control can be incredibly precise but he's no multitasking beast like bisu. |
