Hey!
I'm Robert "PandaTank" Botha, a top 100 grandmaster(EU) level protoss player from Johannesburg, South Africa.
My most recent achievement has been qualifying for the Blizzard WCS Combined European National Qualifiers, along side great players such as sYz, BiGs, NightEnD, etc.
I would like to give back to the community in some way, so I decided the easiest way for me to do that as a player is by sharing my replays and through making some tutorial videos.

[PvT] Defending the 1-1-1 Video tutorial.
+ Show Spoiler +I figure there must be at least a few people that struggle with defending 1-1-1's on TL. I know that I did for the longest time. So I recorded this video tutorial displaying an easy build I personally like to use to defend it. In the tutorial I cover important aspects of scouting, positioning, engagements, and so on that are required to defend a 1-1-1. DISCLAIMER: THIS VIDEO IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. I am by no means a professional caster, video editor, linguist, etc! I realise there are a lot of "um's" and "uhh's", repetitive phrases and my video prodcution skills are absolutely shocking. But hopefully anybody that actually has trouble with 1-1-1 defence will be able to overlook these issues and learn something. @mEtRoSG, thats strange, because I basically never cheese. Maybe 1-2 base all ins from time to time. But not cheese. And thanks for the awesome and constructive feedback. |

in the first youtube video you have the 1000 Protoss wins decal and in the 2nd video the standard protoss decal. how is that possible?

| So are you going to tell me that you've had perfect manner in every SC2 game you've ever played kAra? Anyway, for the record i've actually lost the bad attitude recently and have drastically cut down on my ladder induced rage. This content was intended to try help lower level players, obviously not the people I play at my level. |

yes, i never started to bm first at least, just bmed back if it was called for

People rage, get used to it unless they go overboard and keep going but if they just say an angry sentence it's not a big deal (if they keep messaging you after game or keep going for a long time then I can understand what you are saying)Last edit: 2012-05-12 18:08:24 |

GM protoss posted a replay pack and a tutorial.
How does him raging or not affect the educational value of the replays/tutorial? (btw, Dragon REALLY bothced that game) Hint: it doesn't. If you don't like him, don't add him on facebook, don't give him money or do anything for him. The point is, GM replays are a good resource for 99.9 percent of the TL population. Even if they contain BM. |

Wow. Never felt a need to create a TL account until now.
There's a difference between ragequitting from time to time to actually being an obnoxious horrible person.
Every time I play you, you BM me calling me bad when you lose. When I was winning vs you back in season 3 but had to pause quickly for a phone call, you unpaused and won (by basically cheating). Quit acting like you actually want to help somebody, anybody who's played you knows you're just doing this for attention and self-promotion.

I dunno, it may seem that way, but I dont think its weird at all. Yeah ive had rage issues with the game. But ive never been angry at the sc2 community, or more specifically the TL community. I sit on this site everyday of my life, and i've learnt a lot from other players here. So I wanted to give back to others who look to improve. I don't see the relevance to that and my past anger in game to be honest. |

| Ok ok, well I see where this is going. I also have a million stories to tell about how I have been 'treated like shit' or wronged on the ladder. @ ErAsc2, doing it for attention? Really? Honestly, I would would have much prefered to save the 2 hours of my life it took me to make the video. And people ask me for coaching and replays all the time. Apparently too many people have a personal issue with me to see any merit in any of the content. So I'll just get the mods to close the thread. It's no skin off my back. |

| Cool stuff, I'll definitely check it out, haven't seen much of your play lately but I remember you from my time on EU ladder, really impressive you make GM while playing from south-africa, can imagine the horror in blink vs blink. I'm sure many people will appreciate your replays ^_^ |

Don't get me wrong, if people want to use these replays and your tutorial, then good. That means that you have helped someone which was your goal. Just feels weird when you say stuff like it's "the game" and not the players you rage against.. yet you rage against players and insult them.
