Does it work with steam? I'm having trouble figuring it out.
Afaik the Worrom installer is safe to use but you don't need it since you can just install everything manually. The launcher works great and you should get the beta patch because I think it is recommended to have it now and you will be required to have it soon.

I cba to help anyone any more unless I personally know them. I found 2 guys laying on the ground in elektro. 1 was dead and he was holding an M4 SD. The other was unconscious and dying. I pick up the M4, stop the other guy's bleeding and decide to just leave him with the rest of the gear. I turn away and he shoots me in the back. I've been playing this game for quite a long while now, and I should know better....
EDIT: Haha spawned back into cherno, found whinny right away, and went back to find my body. Found the guy standing there looting it and I killed him. Then he types in chat "omfg faggot in elektro with shotgun so gay"

Haha quality, that's where karma gets you. But seriously, if you find anything like that just shoot on sight: people won't trust you / they will want your shit and kill you anyway.
Been banned recently but just wanted to say how great is this game!!! Just as they show on TV the adverts for that ridiculous lollipop girl game involving cartoony zombies...everyone can see before them the evidence that many many gamers want a realistic, expansive, sandbox zombie apocalypse survival game!

Yeah that is sound advice. I can't really say I blame the guy for shooting me, considering he was probably in a party with his buddy...But there were a lot of people in elektro, and were if not for me he would've bled out and died, and someone else would've just taken his stuff. But I agree, from now on if I have some nice gear I'm just going to shoot on sight. I'll be trusting when I just wander off the shore and have nothing to lose, I guess.
It was north of devils castle, in the clearing north of that forest kind of. I got hit by some fire on they way out, I was also wearing a CQF tag so i presume they will be in the process of moving it atm.
Ok.. now I can return to SC2, just got raped. Done with this game for a while. Me and a friend sniped some guy in the middle of the night at NW airfield. 20 mins later someone snipes us right as we were leaving. 2 shots, both insta dies. No idea where the shots came from. He will be happy to find M4A1+8 mags, sniper, bloodbags, coyote etc. -_- Karma. Cuntman & Psi @ EU 30 and 26
Every server I join keeps getting hacked. It emits an extremely annoying, noisy high pitched tone and kills everyone in the server, or it causes everything to go black and red and shake around and says something like "Zombies don't belong in my arma" or some stupid thing of that nature. Sorry arma fanboy, but if you would rather have your game limited to obscurity than have dayz occupy a portion of it, then you have problems.
