3. Unless you ran along the coast for about 12km, you're probably in Elektro or Cherno. The easiest way to tell is by logging out and back in, it'll tell you where you're at. If you don't want to / can't, just look to see if the city is split into residential/industrial (elektro is huge, and split), or if it's just a big mess of a city (that's cherno)

I immediately run to the fire station to grab some gear or get sniped. Half way there i see another noob with no weapon running behind me so i quit crouch walking and sprint all the way there agroing every zombie in that part of electro knowing that if he gets there first and finds a weapon before me I am just going to die. Not knowing if he is still coming or not i turn around to see him only about 400 meters away with as many zombies chasing him as were chasing me. The bottom floor of the fire station had no weapon and so i run up the stairs and to my surprise i find a akm with 2 mags! Beaming with excitement about the kill that is about to come I go back to the bottom floor and wait.
No sooner had I got there then he comes running in the door and immediately starts doing the friendly dance. Now I consider myself a cold blooded killer but come on he did the friendly dance so I of course do it back and after dispatching twenty or so zombies follow him up the stairs as he goes to look for weapons. Inside I was still trying to decide what to do about my new found friend but it was settled when I hear a sniper shot from the hill ring out and my new friend collapse on the ground dead from a head shot. Vowing for revenge and knowing that it's most likely I will die I begin the belly crawl towards the hill at a angle.
Fifteen minutes later I find myself at the top of the hill looking down at electo still crawling and one hundred percent surprised that I survived the long crawl. Not knowing where to start looking for the sniper who shoots at noobs I happen to glance down towards electro at the right moment and see
somebody on top of the tower. At that exact moment 3 sniper shots ring out that were so loud it made me nearly fall out of my chair. The sniper was right behind me! Thinking he has already seen me I turn around and see him belly crawling in a gillie suit to his left not 15 feet away. I open fire and am immediately rewarded with a murder. Physically shaking from adrenalin I go and loot the sniper who shoots at noobs and oh the loot to be had! The tally was one sniper (was to excited to remmember the name) with 6 clips, night vision goggles, GPS, hatchet, knife, match box, cooked meat and bandages.
Dayz might have a lot of bugs and not very nooby friendly but as long as I can keep having days like these I will definitely keep playing and will recommend it to all my friends.
