Hey guys, I just cleared Act 1 really easily, died a few times on nasty elite combos but nothing was really hard, the butcher died within 2 minutes. Farmed 5 stacks SK a few times, but I wanted to see how Act 2 goes... I die on the normal mobs there... quite a difference lol.

Resistances are without the shout, I do use that though.

As you can see I don't have a lot of gold right now, I have absolutely no luck with items, pretty much every rare is vendor trash as well.
Any upgrades I should work for besides stormshield? Should I farm warden-butcher a lot more and hope for a lot of items that sell on the AH or are just an upgrade for me?
Should I just get tons of resistance to all on most of my items, together with vitality/life%?

so after i upgraded some slots i tried kulle again. worked out rather easy, 2 golems die during wrath with some time left to dps him. rest isnt hard then.
then tried belial and got him on my second try, wrathed him down in phase 2, phase 3 is outside of invisible fireballs and stupid fuckups no real problem.

so what are you guys farming in act2? maghda, kulle (both die in 2 mins) or belial which takes twice as long and i die sometimes to fail movement.

Not there yet, but from my impression, 5-stacking Belial requires you to do a lot of running around to other places to get stacks, whereas running Kulle lets you smoothly get stacks from his 2 shadow lock things. Not sure about drop number or quality, but from a time efficiency standpoint, running Kulle seems more straightforward.

If you're running Belial with no stacks, you may as well just be doing Iskatu or aspects.

also the farthest checkpoint i have is act3 after the siegebreaker. and i doubt ill live long in act4 <.<



might be. but more offensive builds result in me dying too fast and random. and i plain refuse to use a shield. right now i can survive most things in act2 well and kill quite fast, happy with that.

i know that a decent 1h+ shield would bump my survivability up alot but outside of maybe getting some as a sidegrade for coop games in the future i just dont want to go that route.

if i was jsut playing for most efficiency i wouldve done the remaining 20 lvls on my sorc instead of "wasting" time on my barb for days anyways.whats the point on playing barb when i cant smash things with a big weapon :>

Even with 1.4 life leech 800 resist DW Barb still got murder too quick by some rare/elite in ACT 2. I will try to get my DPS up to 17K and see if I can't handle it

Even with bad luck, that's like 50-80k a run and you will get tens of blues and around 6 rares every run and you definitely will get lucky at some point, even if you don't there's almost always something you can sell for around 50k and it definitely adds up. After just 2-3 days of Butcher farming, you can afford at least a Kymbo and a String of Ears, and then you just need to get some All Resist/Vit/Armor gear(those can be rather cheap for totally decent pieces) and soon you'll be ready to tackle Act 2.

You probably want another weapon as well as your DPS seems relatively low, but it's not a priority. However, look for one with a good amount of Life on Hit, or at least a socket(you will place a vit rune there). Life on Hit is a lifesaver.

Your block is good, I wouldn't worry about upgrading your shield until after you have at least ~700-800 all resists and around 40k health with shout up.

and as skyr said i doubt 16kdps is bad for 1h. unless evryone is running around with 1k+ 1handers nowadays . but dps will increase alot anyways once i find a nice weapon since 950dps isnt esp great for a 2h <.<
