Hey all
With just 2 minutes to go before the server shut down, my friend and I cleared Hell Diablo and are now just in Inferno.
I've been playing a very tanky survivalist monk, and I wanted to know if any TLers are in Inferno yet and if we could possibly group up and run shit together.
I'm also curious what sort of specs you need to be able to clear mobs in Act 1 Inferno. Right now I have about 30K health with about 5.1k dps. Am I ready or do I need to farm more in act 3/4 hell? |

I'm in inferno, yeah. My group just started tonight and we cleared through to the spider queen fairly easily, but unfortunately servers shut down like 10 seconds before she died with a 5 stack nephalem buff.
Anyway, my experience so far (and what I've heard from others) is that you need to play a fairly specific way to be successful. Melee need to be super tanky, should be using a shield and mainly defensive abilities, and most successful groups are running two melee and two ranged, though obviously smaller numbers etc can also work.
I've tried lots of comps etc and the one that feels strongest right now is monk/barb/wd/wizard. You will die in inferno, at least once each on most champ packs, and some affix combos are way harder than others. Something like shielding/vamp will take forever to kill and enrage will be a factor, walling/arcane/mortar/vortex and combinations of those are very annoying. Others like horde, molten etc are easy. So RNG plays a factor, especially in later acts. |

| Solo'd through act 1 tonight on my DH. Was really easy up till the butcher. Butcher was a ton of fun because you have to kill him within about 3 minutes or the whole room turns on fire. |

Unlocked inferno this morning, tooled around a little with starter stuff farming some champ packs in the 3 dungeons where you fetch the crown. Easy money flogging good drops on AH as well  .
As a wizard I just needed to figure out that the max 35% health taken per hit+mirror image cooldown reset on getting hit for more than 15% of health+ice barrier is insanely good. I can kill most champ packs, except really fast teleporters or minions immune. Still sticking to the early parts for ease of farming and waiting for the guy I coop with to get back online. |

Im currently on A4 , solo-ed a2 and a3 while my party was solo farming on a1 for items. Everything ( and i mean everything including enviromental objects one shot me since a2 ) :D Dont think soem1 will beat inferno soon on hardcore  |

| Soloing at a2 with wizard, bosses are easy, normal mobs are joke as always, most of rares are really fucking hard, almost any vortex/jailor/etc + fire chains/molten/etc combos are pretty much impossible to kill, fast+horde is instant skip aswell. They should make some restrictions to skills, getting pulled into 1 shotting thing when theres no way to avoid it is not a good mechanic nor fun. |

Got in today, we played with WD(me) and DH, took down Leoric and again with 5x buff twice just now, got nice upgrade to main hand. Elites are either really easy or ridiculous depending on modifiers, normal monsters aren't really hard aside from all typically very fast ones, high damage and lots of health everywhere.
I currently have something like 14.2k damage without buffs (I think I peaked something like 33k with Soul Harvest/Gruesome Feast/Big Bad Voodoo w/ dmg+), but only 30k~ health, even with Jungle Fortitude I take massive damage from everything.
Inferno is pretty intense, though the early zombies were lack luster. Not sure if I can group any time soon as there is about 3 groups of friends online almost all the time whom I play with. |

monsters scale with players. when i play solo i kill stuff in 5 seconds, in a 4 player group it takes freaking ages to kill anything. |

| Yep, basically agreeing with everyone here. Regular mobs ezpz, bosses not too bad (solo), although they die pretty slow for me, and champions are hit or miss depending on the ability combos. Vortex, illusionist, mortar, molten = new game! :D |

My friends and I just beat the last Act 1 boss (avoiding spoilers but ya'll know who it is) on Inferno. 2 Wizards and a Monk. Took 2 hours of trial and error but when all was said and done we were pretty thrilled.
