I like eurovision just because its so awful, and terry wogan used to make it amazing (if you watched it in the UK) although i recently saw a panorama ep on this years eurovision and how the host country is basically a mafia state and people who voted for their rival nation where questioned by police and even taken to prison for just a phone vote..

Eurovisions always a fun night, get your friends round, put all the countries in a hat and have each person put a few dolla into a pot, draw countries, winner takes all

Yeah yeah, every nation has their problems. Imo what China did during Olympics 2008 was worse.
So Azerbaidjan, Israel and Turkey are now part of Europe. It's too bad the organizers have to inject politics in what should be a simple fest between Europeans.
By the way, France wouldn't win this year that's for sure -_-

Any nation with any land in the European continent or the Mediterranean coast is allowed to join. The rules state that there is not allowed to be any politics from the competition. Also Azerbaijan is like mostly Europe. More than russia is by %

Turkey have always been a part of Europe. Israel and Azerbaidjan aren't.
