Hey, i want to ask you for strategies, for me (P) and my partner (Z).
We want to know what is considered standard, what is a safe strat, a greedy strat, a rush, a cheese, a crazy and unsusual build or something.
For the record, we reached C in 2v2 using our knowledge of 1v1 and some reps of scan, but playing against other C players, we realized that we don't know how to play properly.
This is what we do
PZ vs PZ we usually do zerling goon into zerling muta.
I start with 2 gate to defend from rushes and he does speedlings or overpool.
Then, he put a hatch and then try to go mutas. I want to know other important things as if Z needs to put his hatchery above the ramp, near his main hatch, or things like that. Then we go muta ling goon or mutaling archon zealot.
PZ vs TZ P goes 1 gate core, to make goons if T makes mech, or ht if goes bio. Zerg goes overpol or 12 pool, and sometimes we have time to attack one of them, close the ramp of the zerg or even kill one of them. If the TZ team is better than us, they manage to kill most f the mtuas of our team and all the ht that i get, and i'm not able to leave my nat, or even hold it.
PZ vs PP or PT or TT These ones are kind of easy cause we have map control with lings. I make goons, a lot of them and react of what happen in game. We just lost to TT once, i think it was my mistake.
PZ vs ZZ Here we are doing corsair lings, i mean mass corsairs mass lings.I make 1 gate gas core with 2 zealots cuting probes to defend. He makes overpool o 9pool and stay in his main if the zergs don't put pressure on him. Them i make corsairs, cannons and start leaving. He makes 3 hatch lings, if the 2 zergs try to make corsairs, he leaves and we attack, so normally we see one zerg going full ligns and the other going mutas and then we have some micro battles and expand. Fun match up.
I want to have more strategies and know if some things that we are doing are right or wrong.
If you need, i can post some replays of us playing. I think that is better if we post the games we lost.
PD: + Show Spoiler +I also would like to know other match ups with P, like PP and PT.
I mean with my patnert being P ot T. PP seems fun, and if the oponents are not that good, we can crush him with zealots. PP vs ZZ... we just palyed one game and we both did FE lol, and the 2 zergs rushed one and failed xD. And PT is soooo slow. I read somewhere that vs TZ we get goon wraith and vs PZ and PP we get zealots wraith, but it doesn't seem to work. Or we don't know how to make it work.

I've read in so many places that PT vs PZ/TZ is supposed to be near impossible.
PT wraiths goon can be good if it's not scouted or predicted (I don't think most people don't know how to guess/prepare for it without fucking up their econ)
When it's PT vs PZ, I think mnm zealots can be good, but thats only if the PZ team is dumb enough to vie for map control vs mnm zealot with a zealot ling or even a goon ling army. I think this strat can be strong, but if they compete for map control only to stall for some kind of tech (like ht, lurkers etc), then it turns around pretty fast.
I think with TP vs TZ, you want to somehow secure expansions and hold them, without allowing TZ to keep up, then it can swing into your favor pretty easily, esp if TZ is stubborn and keeps massing mutal.
Hopefully, someone who's gotten higher ranks than C- with random allies will post, cos I would like to know too.
It might also be worth searching for old 2v2 posts by Ganfei or Light Nexus (same dude). He once posted a replay of him playing SK terran vs a PZ team, and it was pretty lulzy and awesome.

Usually I fight for an air game.
ZP goes Muta/Sair or Muta/Zealot/Goon. Since I always play zerg, i either open 9 pool speed or overpool hatch in-base and transition into a delayed 3 hatch muta.
ZT goes Wraith/Muta or Mech/Muta. Same as above. |

Also, look for metal[x]'s 2v2 replay pack. He mostly plays TZ, but there are some ZZ and PZ reps.
I think there's quite a few pz pz and tz pz reps, so you can see what both sides do and what works at the highest levels.. |

| Speedlings own 2v2, especially on open maps. Keep the two opposing armies separated. Threaten backstabs. DO backstabs. Use your lings to force one player all the way back to his base, then quickly run to the other and kill him together with your part. Etc. |
