actually now that i think about it, orianna is a great point guard
she passes the rock to darius, then knocks everyone up so he can rack up the dunks

holy shit, and ziggs is the shooting guard. his ult is FROM DOWNTOWN
j4 for center, darius for power forward. now we just need a 3-man

no sustain or mobility. honestly, his late game is jawkward as hell, but dear lord, the early beats he can put on people in lane and early teamfights are insane. I just wheeled around on an amumu with like 800 HP when I had like 50 HP and just insta killed him with QautoWR
I haven't really found mobility to be an issue on him since he has the MS boost, a slow, and a grab, when I play him his sticking power seems quite nice. |

Hotshot having what I call The Trundle Experience, where you pick trundle, get ungodly fed, then just lose. This is what I go through every single time I play trundle, last season I had something like 9-1 k/d on trundle and <20% win rate.

| I've been considering flat AP quints, since a lot of guides seem to recommend them on every AP champ, but they don't seem to be very effective on a few. When I play Veigar, the 15 AP gives 9 extra damage on my Q (not counting resists). It makes me wonder if those quints could instead be used for something more useful, like MS/MR |

Darius' passive is actually a little weird, assuming it hasn't been changed from the PBE.
- "Over five seconds" translates to four ticks starting 1 second after application, dealing damage equal to 9+.1AD per second per stack at level 18.
- Refreshing the stack does not delay incoming ticks (similar to Teemo/Nautilus), but will increase the damage if the stack increases.
- Hemorrhage will always tick once when it expires, regardless of whether this lines up with previous ticks.
The practical upshot of this is that when you trade with auto+QW you get an additional tick of damage from Darius' passive. This tick does exactly 36*.4*.3 damage per stack. As best as I can tell Riot put an extra 30% damage on there for no clear reason.
Basically whenever you apply multiple stacks of Darius' passive on a target you're guaranteed to get this additional tick. It's not a huge factor outside of trades, but it's weird.Last edit: 2012-05-25 07:30:10 |

MS is good on Veigar, that little boost of movement speed can get you barely in stun range
HP/MR is good vs tough lanes like Leblanc, Ahri
Heck you can even go Gp5 if you do a Kages/Philo build |

Since there is just NO item I can think of right now that would make my autoattacks slow people, I was sort of playing with the thought of investing 3k gold into an item that has the ability to slow a bunch of fools every 60 seconds. omen isn't just about slowing people for hitting them you derp, it's also the single best defensive item vs. physical damage through it's stats and special abilities. It gives solid HP and a ton of armor Armor, which is perfect for people with no defensive steroids. If you build Mallet on Darius, you're going to be doing very little damage and you won't be very tanky at all. |

wei2 specifically said Randuins was a must buy because he has a hard time sticking to people. How is Randuins, solely judged on the ability to make Darius stick to people, a better item to buy than phage? Also, I never talked about ever upgrading Phage to Mallet.

| randuin's is an amazing item for characters that have trouble getting kited, which is slightly different than sticking to people. it mostly depends on if you can't stick to someone because they just straight up run away, or because they can stay out of your range and still damage you. randuin's is better when you're being kited, mallet is better otherwise. IMO. |
