Then there'd be less viable junglers, because some of those with no sustain really need smite for their first couple clears, would be a lot slower without it. Other than that, it seems interesting, but Flach/CV seems so prevalent that I can't really see most supports giving one or either up. |

Then your support gets buffs any time you get counterjungled early. That and forces you to either have your AD get zoned early for free, or always take buff closest to you. |

Makes your bot lane weaker, makes your jungler slower, makes your jungler more at risk to having buffs / big minions stolen, makes your objective contests weaker (your support being lower level = weaker smite).
All those negatives for...

| I think the question we should really be asking is, what if smite was a mastery skill instead and gave you a brand new button, enabling everyone to still have a choice of 2 summoners minus smite of course. |

| Then junglers would be really fucked because every game would be teams stealing everything and objectives would be massive stalemates because if you move slightly too far they have 5 smites to burst it down, but you can't contest either because you have 10 people competing to smite the last hit. | I agree with Craton. Smite is too strong not to be a choice to take, if everyone had it there'd be chaos. It'd be entertaining, but for tactical play and high level strategy, it'd be a nightmare. |

| 5 smites with no drawbacks would be super retarded. At level 18 that's 4k+ true damage to any minion/monster. Baron standoffs would be even more gay than they are now since it'd basically become whichever team smites second wins. |

| i asked smash specifically in his thread because i didn't want him to miss it, but i want to ask the rest of TL LoL too, what are some surefire champs to pick against singed. 100% win-rate champs against singed that even if the jungler forces them back, as soon as the enemy jungler leaves they're back on singed nuts crushing him |

fairly sure nidalee fucks him over with no real repercussions not really going to get kills just win by massive amounts of cs. Free damage with AA's then hop away and heal and singed can't do much. |

| There's really nothing that beats singed 100% of the time. He definitely has some tough matchups, notably against ranged champs like Kennen, Vlad, Kayle. GP deserves an honorable mention, as well. Against melee champs singed doesn't really have much of a problem since poison trail does mad dps early on and makes it really easy for him to trade with other laners. I mean, I'd really like to witness a Singed surviving 6 levels of relentless aggression from Riven. He basically can't farm before that, and I'm pretty sure Pantheon would tear him a new one, too. Maybe I just haven't seen a good Singed in action (very likely), but I have troubles imagining how he would not fall too far behind pre Tabi/Chain/Cata.

Have you seen the DPS output of a Riven who started Doran's at level 2? And don't tell me Singed can just counter that by getting boots. Blindly picking boots against Riven is sheer suicide. Last edit: 2012-06-03 19:07:40 |

OK so you said there's a reason a guy mainly playing Singed can blindpick him and be 2300. So either the champion is blatantly overpowered because nobody can touch him or invertedcomposer is just really really good with Singed. Am I missing anything? |

| On the smite topic, I guess you could go Nunu jungle but that is a drawback already lol. Still, it opens up for the possibility of double combat summoners. |
