Awesome episode with Tasteless. Along with Artosis and Day9 my favourite guy in the community.
Really informative too. Finally learned about the Plott father and more about the Plott upbringing from Nick's perspective. He seems really honest and doesn't beat around any bush. | Great interview. While Tasteless' opinion about the U.S.A. is similar to what the rest of the world thinks about the states, this is one of the few times i actually hear someone who is originally from the U.S.A. express such opinions. I guess the fact he has travelled the whole world put things into perspective |

JP avoided the question if Tasteless is still playing or not...why not just ask him and let him lie or say something random. We can't check anyway if he says the truth or not...it was a nice interview but that's what I was REALLY curious about.

Episode with Tasteless was, IMO, the best one I've seen. As to "does Tasteless still play", he said multiple times that he gets to talk about his favourite video game for a living, most people like to occassionally play their favourite game .

There are a lot of people in the US that have opinion, not just people that travel. He did give a good representation of the situation though. |

i thought this question was answered albeit indirectly. tasteless mentions that he's getting korean lessons, he's out socializing, he's playing other games (he mentioned max payne 3), plus he's casting GOM, working on his other businesses, travelling to cast other tournmanets, etc. IIRC he mentions that he doesn't play a lot anymore (tho it was just mentioned in passing). |

I think its easy to assume that he really doesn't. When JP asked about his relationship and bla bla bla and how he "disappears" with that shit, Tasteless answered that he has a social life, studies Korean (private tutor), played Max Payne 3 (obviously other games as well) and so on.
Great damn episode, JP. Absolutely love Tasteless and this interview was just amazing.

| I loved this episode! I loved how honest and down-to-earth Nick is. I loved that he was not afraid to talk about the problems of the community, the drama, the absolute crap that fills a significant part of the forums. Overall it was an excellent interview, i had a great time watching it. |

| Great episode, tasteless is so chill.. He did mention that he doesn't get to play as much SC 2 anymore but that he still plays whenever he gets the chance. |

Really great episode! I loved how he talked about the internet at 1h38min as I am nearly his age I can agree a 100% with what he said. I also loved that he put the business aspect in for a few minutes, the Castingarchon marketingstrategy and how he reached the point where he can live happy live now and can chose where he wants to go and where not. I hope my future job will bring me to Soul somewhen so I can see for myself if S.Korea is really that "awesome".
Just one thing to JP, Sweden has some good of the best players in sc2 and other esports titels, but is not the "S.Korea" of Europe. If I missunderstood him there, I am sorry. But we will never have something like Soul in Europe or NA just because of the size of this "countries". |
