So the game has been out for a while and if you're like me you've been loving every moment of it. I'm playing HC and currently have a WD, Barb and Monk at NM.
I bet throughout our play throughs we've wished that certain things should be added or just different, and so I'm making this thread to see what you guys would enjoy seeing changed. If you're a D3 hater then this thread really isn't for you and we should keep the wishlist relatively simple.
Here it goes for me:
I wish gem drops were a different color than the standard white. I feel like I'm missing some by accident.
It would be cool to have a mailbox system kind of like in wow bc sometimes I'd just like to send an item to a friend who may be interested in a certain drop I got. This could be used like a stash so maybe keep a max size for the inbox?
Kind of non game related but I wish there was a good bestiary out already for D3, certain mobs are driving me crazy bc I'm not really sure what buffs they are doing.
I wish you would always spawn in town regardless of what progress you're in at a certain quest. I've logged in a dozen time forgetting I'm in the middle of some dungeon and suddenly I see mobs running towards me.. >.<
I wish the AH permitted more than 10 items to be on sale at a given time.
Those are the ones I can come up with atm, but I'm sure I have a lot more. Let's hear your wishlists TL. Remember keep it simple and don't bother if you're just going to hate or wish how it was more like D2. |

Pages/Tomes should be different color as well. I run back through kiting mobs and find Gems/Pages i missed all the time.
Gear Toolips:
+/- Values for all stats (Intellect, Strength Vitality, Magic Find % etc)

Add an NPC that allows you to access the auction house from in game.
Personally I kind of miss the loot coloring system from D2 for uniques and set items, and I miss rune words. It seems runes would have tied in perfectly with blacksmithing as a material to collect for more controlled results. It also seems that the legendaries are too often inferior to equal level blues and rares.
I also miss the option to socket an item. I understand that allowing unlimited sockets thru crafting was a bad idea, but they could have kept something similar to the way it is done in D2 restricted by quest reward per character which would give you more incentives to play other characters. |

| I wish weapon damage affixes just changed the damage type instead of adding to the overall damage. For example, instead of +120-250 holy damage, the weapon just does holy damage. This would fix the nonsense with legendary weapons being stupidly weaker than even decent rolled magical. |

1) Get rid of identifying. Waste of time, really.
Every time your inv is full you stand there fore 30 seconds doing nothing. You can't even check your magic drops/other items while you identify rares - how ridiculously stupid is that? At the very least make it instant, I beg you.
2) Add an option to disable the "are you sure you want to salvage this rare item" popup. There are non retarded people out there that are able to click on a 25x50 pixel item icon they intended to successfully in 99.99% of the cases. It might be only few people able to do so, but please do it for them (yes, sarcasm).
3) If - as other have 'requested' tomes, gems etc get another color rather than being white items, then an option that makes your character unable to pick up white and grey items or even better unable to even see them would be awesome.Last edit: 2012-05-25 06:09:52 |

we should be able to teleport to any act(i.e. from act 4 to 2) at least after killing diablo.
customizable colors for items like you mentioned above.
more search and sorting options in auction house.

About the gems/pages/etc being a different color how about just allowing us to pick what color we want for varying drops.
One simple thing I'd like to see added/changed is in the blacksmith crafting window I'd like it if they placed the lvl requirement beside the item, its a bit of a pain having to mouse over every item to see what the lvl requirement is.
Oh another thing is similar to how you can just right click an item while in your stash to place it there so we don't have drag and drop everything. I'd like it if you are at the transmuting window if you could just right click items in your inventory to mute them so you don't have to do all that dragging and dropping. |

I'm not sure if I really understand this, but I think what you're talking about can be done through the transmute page of the blacksmith. If you click the "salvage" button, your mouse cursor will change and then you can simply left click items to have them broken down. |

| they should really fix their chat system... by scraping the entire thing and rebuild it... Jeeze this is worst than sc2 when it first came out 2 years ago. They should also need to fix/improve all the buff timer system to show the time properly for self as well as party. AH search system sucks currently and there should be a sorting system for the 'invoice' section. |

Mine was also yellow. Havent seen any others yet. The patterns for the staff of herding for normal, nightmare, and hell were all white though, so it's possible there could be blue patterns. Not entierly sure |

| A /nopickup feature. As someone who plays a Barbarian, it's annoying to have to wade through item drops while aiming some of my abilities. Otherwise, I'd like a way to return to previous parts of the game without resetting your progress. I honestly can't think of a good reason as to why they would include such a mechanic. Maybe I'm missing something. Also, it'd be nice if there was at minimum a buff bar under enemy nameplates so I can actually see what buffs they have. |

Patterns for legendary items are orange I think. My friend saw an orange drops and yelled out in Skype that he found a legendary, only to clarify that it was just a pattern for a daibo. I think a pattern would match the item class that it makes.
