Hi guys, this isn't actually broodwar, but I don't know where to put it.
Essentially, I am having a crash problem after completing mission 4 of the ORIGINAL GAME. I have tried normally 4 times, logged out of my comp and back in, shut down the computer and tried, and even used the ophelia cheat, but nothing worked. Any ideas? |

Do you play on windows 7 ? Is this the only place where the game crashes ? Do you have the latest patch/version ?
Never heard of this bug though. |

Never heard of this bug though.
I do play on windows 7. I just got the game 2 weeks ago give or take, so i would assume I have the latest version, and this is only 4 missions in and this is thus far the only point where the game crashes.

Ok so I guess you play at least on 1.15 with bw. The game tends to crash on windows seven in itself so I'm not sure what's your problem. You might want to try to cheat with "there is no cow level", and maybe see if when you play other games you have random crashes ? If not, you can find the latest patch (1.16.1) pretty easily on google, though I'm not sure it will help :/ |

by 'other games' do you mean other games entirely or like other missions or online games in SC/BW?

Log on to battle.net (in SC) and it'll check to see if you need updates. |

You could just use the cheat to skip to the next mission...

You didn't even read the OP did you? I said i used the cheat to skip missions, it still crashed.
Well anyway i was curious and played the other missions again, and HEY GUESS WHAT IT CRASHED :O

Have you patched to the latest patch?
Go into Multiplayer-> Expansion -> B.net, then the patcher wil automatically start. |

you can use chaos launcher for window mode and other cool stuff.
 Chaoslauncher
for the error message:
in your starcraft folder you have a directory called Errors and inside you may find 1 or more error files. |
