| I had this problem with BW on twilight maps, they would just crash, probably due to some corrupted texture or something. Anyway, did you try ophelia to play level 6, 7, 8...? Did you try the campaigns for the other races? I'm assuming tileset issues to only level 5 and other same-tileset missions should be broken. It's not very plausible that everything beside Terran 1-4 is broken, bugs in the campaign wouldn't likely be that sequential. |

First of all, you obviously didn't read the OP. I said I had tried both of the cheats to skip levels. And I also said (in a later post) that I did return and play through the terran 1-4 again, but as soon as i finished the first one, it crashed. So, your post was absolutely pointless. |

Did you try disabling music? CTRL + M.
I remember my old BW copy crashed with certain music tracks, not sure why. |

I did not but remember it does only crash when i complete a mission. And, not sure if you read the later post, I will not be able to try until tuesday (tomorrow). Thanks for all the help and I hope something you guys suggested works! :D

What crashed? Did the game start crashing, on launch, after you tried level 5? Don't be a douche about people trying to help. The OP does not suggest which approach to level skipping was taken, only that you tried it in one way.

I finish the 4th mission, and it crashes, no chance to start the 5th mission. As far as I can tell it crashes as soon as I finish any level.Last edit: 2012-05-29 23:25:02 |

^do this. Also, when you're back in the game, go to options / video /
then un-check the box that says "enable color cycling"
voila. no more crashing.
Also, be more detailed when you make an OP.
Normally the problem that needs the above solution involves still hearing music/streams/whatever while your game just freezes over and forces you to restart computer in order to be able to do anything else. So... I'm not even sure if this is exactly your problem, but w.e it fixes that, and sooner or later you'll encounter that problem anyway.Last edit: 2012-05-30 01:15:12 |
