I dislike the 2012 UFC, they just straight out lie to their customers. When I saw the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Miguel Cotto card, the narrators of HBO give great analysis but also tell the truth. They call fighters what they are, if they're old they are called old, if they are slow, they're called slow, making sure the watcher knows what he has in front. That honesty is nowhere to be found in the UFC, I honestly just turn the sound off because its so annoying.
They straight up lie saying Frank Mir is a decent opponent, he is not. I'm not saying he should be insulted, but they should say the last 3 guys he fought were over 100 years old if their ages are put together, Nogueira, Cro Cop were wayyy past their prime yet Joe Rogan keeps saying how Mir stood toe to toe against Cro Cop in a striking war... why doesn't he say before saying that Nogueira got his arm broken that he was whipping Mir? I appreciate sincerity, it could be any fighter, I'm just pointing out Mir because he's in the main event. He will lose, he's good but JDS is in another league, that is all.

Sure but I just like the HBO boxing commentators a lot more, they always tell good analysis and the truth, it makes it more exciting to me, Rogan just speaks very loud that is all he's good at. |

I like how Joe Rogan breaks down fights and his in fight commentary but I agree with you guys, when it comes to pumping up fighters/fights, I think he goes a little too far. I'm sure he convinces a lot of casual fans though |

After I heard Joe Rogan rip into Phil Plait while advocating the nonsense that humans haven't been to the moon and that the Apollo program was nothing but a scam, I lost all respect for him. He was walking a fine line as a hyperbole-wielding announcer but that totally pushed him over the edge.
Guy is a tool.
