Stephano is a warrior at these weekend tournaments, we haven't seen how well he'll do with days of preparation per match. While I don't doubt he could make it far, he's extremely stylistic. With a week of preparation any player in Code S could easily take him out.
Stephano are the most studied player in the korean scene for like 6 months and they still cant take him out.
This is an excellent point. Stephano is so well studied on the Korean scene that he almost single handedly made a lot of zergs switch to upgraded ling - infestor builds. Even Jaedong has come out and said Stephano is the player he wants to play like. You can make the case (and I firmly believe) that Stephano is the most talented player in SC2 given his spectacular results and light practice schedule. I'm predicting no one is "figuring out" Stephano any time soon.
A lot of people seem to still think that Stephano only plays ~4 hours a day but that was when he was also going to school. Since he's been playing full-time he's practising a lot more.
Yeah, Cloud said that he practices the most out of allmost all the EU pros.
Because EU pros minus Naniwa and Grubby barely practice at all.
Are you kidding me?

Also true :{
No, just because a lot of them SAY they dont practice that much, it doesnt mean that is true. And also dont forget the Easter Europeans, they practice almost as much as Koreans. |

This is not at all the case. He played about 15 games the entire week prior to MLG and barely practiced at all prior to this tournament. He also took a vacation for two weeks about three weeks ago. He's not even practicing 3 hours a day. He was streaming for 5-6 hours a day but that has stopped recently because of his traveling schedule. He now plays 5-6 hours a day when he streams and he says usually about 3 hours a day when he doesn't. But as I stated above he's not even practicing three hours a day now. This should blow everyone's mind but everyone seems to assume he's practicing on the low, which I'm certain is not the case (unless Bling and everyone else is covering for him).

It's certainly impressive that he is that good despite practicing so little. But there are many Zerg that practice very little, Ret being one of them. Also Nestea has stated that many Zerg players practiced less than others in some interview. Still Stephano is better than most Zergs so it's still impressive.

| I just noticed one thing. In this group there are no Toss, and i must admit all the games were really fun to watch. I know that Toss needs warpgate mechanic, but God it makes this race so boring to watch (especially PvZ) |

Seems either they are caught by TvT or non-mirrors, that can easilly go for long games which will delay them... Or else they overcompensate and estimate all bo3's to be 45mins, which in PvP (and still often in ZvZ) is highly unlikely.
However, I'm glad I'm not the one scheduling (^_^) |
