Lets do it again this week! Except on Sunday this time. If you would like to come see 3pm game on Sunday, please send me a PM, or just show up at exit 3 at Yongsan Station at 1:30 on Sunday the 24th and find a bunch of foreigners standing around

Hello,
I know there always is a few TL'ers in Korea at any time of the year, especially in the summer. I remember two years ago when I last visited Korea when I went to see the MSL finals between Flash and Jaedong and it was EPIC.
Back then Lilsusie was still in korea and she organized stuff, but now that she is gone, I would like to invite all TL'ers in korea for a shindig or to go watch proleague or gsl or whatever.
Please leave a reply with when will you be in Korea and where in korea you will be if you would like to join in, and we'll figure out what, when and where.
As for me, I am going to be in korea until early august, and I'm staying in Bucheon, a satellite city of seoul.
EDIT: I would like to know which one works better for people, Saturday, June 16th or Sunday, June 17th. There are two games each day, one at 12 and the other at 3. Tickets get distributed an hour before the matches, so please consider that also.
Poll: Which match would you like to go see?Game 2 Saturday, June 16th at 3pm (3) 38% Game 2 Sunday, June 17th at 3pm (3) 38% Game 1 Saturday, June 16th at 12pm (2) 25% Game 1 Sunday, June 17th at 12pm (0) 0% 8 total votes Your vote: Which match would you like to go see? (Vote): Game 1 Saturday, June 16th at 12pm (Vote): Game 2 Saturday, June 16th at 3pm (Vote): Game 1 Sunday, June 17th at 12pm (Vote): Game 2 Sunday, June 17th at 3pm

Plop,
I will be in Korea at least until December 2012. However, i am not in Seoul, but Incheon. It's not far from Bucheon, but it takes some time to go to Seoul :/
As for TL meetup in Korea, SeeKeR and P3psi organized one last week. We went to the GSL grand final.
Anyway, I sometimes go to the GSL live and watching the proleague at least once could be interesting since it is the last season including some broodwar games. I might go to the GSTL this monday night, let me know if you are interested !

| I'll be returning to Korea sometime after June 11 (possibly July). I'm looking for a place to rent right now, so if anyone knows someone renting a room or studio apt, please let me know. |

How about something like this? Not quite a goshitel but perhaps a bit close.
http://seoul.craigslist.co.kr/roo/3050302409.html
Honestly I feel like I wouldn't mind a goshitel at all... when I'm at home I spent most of the time at the PC anyway. My last apt in Korea was 3bedrooms, and frankly way too big. I think I'd be happy living in one of the shoeboxes I often see advertised (like this one).
As long as it's clean and has internet...
Or, what about homestays? I've been looking into those as well. |

I will be in Seoul from August 6 until September 1. I have quite a few friends in Korea but they often work or study on weekdays and vacationing alone is no fun. GSL is always great to go to, and if anyone is into clubbing and drinking or simply just wants meet up to have dinner, message me!
Also, I have stayed at guesthouses but I feel sometimes they are crowded (unless you like talking to all sorts of people), but are quite cheap. Most offer free breakfast, laundry, wifi, etc.Last edit: 2012-06-06 07:12:16 |

Find a "One Room" then, everything is included: bed, internet, bathroom, kitchen, etc. It's a bit bigger and more confortable than a goshitel. I pay mine 300.000KRW/month + electricity and gas bills.

I'm in Seoul from June 2nd - June 15th as the first stop of my world-trip. Right now I'm staying at nice hostel (Hong Guesthouse) close to Dongdaemun. I just love the korean people . I have been to the last 2 GSTL-Matches (yesterday was epic!) and talked to other foreigners a little.
Nevertheless: I would highly appreciate a TL-Meetup or any other kind of meeting. Anyone wants to meet for the match tonight, have a drink, talk nerd stuff or anything else :-p?! Last edit: 2012-06-06 15:33:47 |

| I may be coming to Korea for the last BW OSL Final (July 28th). My semester starts on the 30th, so I'll probably fly back on the 29th, therefore arrive around the 14th of July? Don't know yet. Last edit: 2012-06-06 16:01:21 |

| Hey I'm in Korea until at least next year and would be willing to meet up, I went to the last meetup for the GSL code S finals and it was a great time! I'm teaching English just south of Seoul in Ansan, but it is easy to get Seoul so I'm down for anything. |

Yeap, i recommand hasukchips. When i stayed there it offered me breakfast, dinner and i didn't have to pay electricity and water. I think this applies to every hashukchips. |
