So I recently built a new PC:

AsRock x79 extreme6 mobo
i7-3930k
Gtx 670

But for some reason, it wont detect my steelseries sensei mouse and my razor megalodon headset. I've updated my windows all the way to the newest version (win7 ultimate 64bit) I've reinstalled, restarted, I tried to update my usb drivers but I think it's either not letting me or that the version from the CD is the newest version (LOL) So I think there is something wrong with updating on this PC... The mouse and the headset both are working, I've plugged them back into my old PC and they both worked. I remember having to spam the firmware patcher for the sensei a little bit, but even before updating, that mouse had worked, unlike this time which it is detected as "Unknown USB Device" Please help, and give suggestions >.< this is very frustrating.

Are the USB ports directly connected to the mobo or are they in the case and wired into the mobo?

I've tried both ports from the front and from the back, and I downloaded both of the USB drivers from there.

Also, the only things that havent worked right are the megalodon and the steelseries sensei, my razer blackwidow and logitech revolution mouse both works and are recognized

If the peripherals work on another computer or a laptop, then you might just have to RMA your mobo

well since everything else works on the mobo.

Oh somehow the mouse and the headset were recognized and the mouse worked, but then I tried to start the steelseries firmware repair tool and it's been stuck on updating ever since and keep failing at 41% The headset now is under "sound, video, and game controller" in the device manager but it has a yellow thing right next to it..
