Hi guys. Can you guys rank the classes in terms of sustained dps and potential dps(including high cd skills). I have a monk and i'm bored of it already cause of the low damage and the fact that since the beginning, all you use for attack is fists of thunder.
I want to create a new character that does high dmg. I have a friend to tank for me.

Pretty much this.
Wizard I think has higher DPS but Demon Hunter has some crowd control. |

| only lvl 40 experience with both, but I really feel that barbarian can dish out alot more dmg (revenge, frenzy, earthquake+wrath, rest survival skills) compared to wiz (Diamond, Tele, Hydra, Orb, Seeker, Familiar), maybe im doing something wrong (pretty similar gear on both) |

Also, now that force armor has been "fixed", it seems like DH have more survivability. SS was nerfed too, but it still has uses, and with all the CC you have you need not ever get hit if you play carefully. |

With 100% crit from a passive which is only present for 1 second after critting and then having to ramp up again.
Not saying that DH is bad, but its not that clear.
DH/Wizard are able to solo Inferno with far worse gear than the other classes while its Witch Doctor > Barb = Monk pretty much
Edit at the guy above me: My Witch Doctor friend cleared Act 3 Inferno some days ago while Barbs/Monks were still struggling in Act 2 so its not as bad as you want to make it look.Last edit: 2012-05-27 18:42:20 |

| WD, Monk, and barbs aren't really that great in inferno. DH and Wiz is the way to go for DPS or survivability. |

Wizard and DH both let you do pure dps builds where your goal is more or less to have as much DPS as humanly possible, with just enough survivability to not get oneshotted. The difference is, DH can do a kiting style while still outputting insane DPS, as a wizard you will have to rely on spells like blizzard and venom hydra, which while powerful, do not really do the same sick DPS as a DH.
If you're bored of Monk because of damage, I'd recommend a DH. |

You already can spam zombie bars in inferno using vision quest passive. It's useless because you have to get into the face of enemy mobs and you get one shotted really fast. |

Zombie Bear spam doesn't work against Inferno Elites because they can tank it long enough to get to you and kill you before you kill them |

DH and Wiz dps crushes barb dps at similar gear levels |

DH is best by far for inferno now I think. Has the highest dps probably with 2 handed bow + quiver and it has some good cc options.
Wizard does great DPS too but their CC options are much worse.
Other classes are relatively screwed still at inferno as they rely on melee and/or pets a lot. |

DH has easily the highest DPS, and also the best class for soloing Inferno now after the Wizard nerfs.
I'd say something like:
DH => Wiz => WD => Monk => Barb |
