League Choosing?

Many threads are seen having the basic message of 'Why am I still in Bronze' or 'Why did I get placed so high after my placement matches'. These threads pop up nearly everyday and Blizzard reply with the same answer (if they reply as they must get tired of these threads), 'Your MMR is fluctuating, you will be put in your correct league when your MMR settles.' This is a fair and true statement but I feel more could be done to enhance the game and the feeling of the players.

I am suggesting some sort of appeal to Blizzard to put you down/up to a league of your choice. Now this may/may not be possible but i feel that it would make a lot of people less irritated when put back in the same league or stuck in league they just don't enjoy. Now I do understand that the may be problems such as Bronze players going to masters and vice versa, and also people constantly appealing. I already thought about the problem of constant appeals by putting a cap on it (like the name change) this way if people can move leagues but they may be put down if they are doing poorly and will not get the chance to move again. The bronze-masters or the other way could just be filtered so these appeals don't get chosen.

It's just a thought but I feel if tweaked it could be a great idea. Anyway leave thoughts of this and whether you think this should be implemented in a way.

sorry but TL is not blizzard, go post on bnet

going up or down a league won't help much, since either you'll be winning too many games or losing too many

that player's experience will be either "too much winning" or "too much winning"
that would take away part of the challenge

and of course being able to just move up or down would make things complicated... it may slow down match making, etc.

if someone really belongs in a different league, they should get there by winning or losing

This wouldn't work and would disrupt competitive play immensely as every bronze player would put themselves in GM and want to play the pro players for E-fame.

Why don't you bring this up with Blizzard, see if they care.
Also, do you really want all those people who claim that they should be in a higher league actually move up? It'd be a lot easier to win games, yes, but it'd be boring stomping players without a challenge.

lol, if they spent the time they spend whining about not being in the league they want actually playing the game to get there, maybe they'd be promoted. All this would do is have every low level player who thinks he's hot shit get put in dia/masters, get owned for 20 games and end up back in bronze.

i was getting mad too about that. playing against better placed people and still being in a lower league.

well you know what? league doesnt matter. since i started to think that way i have much more fun in my games. even pros say leagues doesnt matter (like idra for example).
just play and have fun!

Despite how much people bitch...the ladder system does a very good job of placing you where you belong. If you aren't in diamond, it's pretty much because you aren't diamond material.
