Captain rumford is the guy you kill(rekill) in Adria's Cellar. The guy who is the current "captain" is just some farmer the guards took along and he managed to actually get back alive. I am hoping to see the Demon hunter and Monk homelands.
No, that was Daylton, or something along that spelling. Rumford is still around after that event.
If you go on Old Tristram Road after the initial quests, you find Rumford on the ground, if you click on him, your hero says something along the lines of "rest in peace". He does die, it just wasn't explicitly stated and is missable if you don't backtrack a bit. |

| Why people got the impression that Imperius is a bad guy? He is aspect of valor and he represents that aspect to extreme. Yes, he rages a lot but he has the reasons to do so. He predicted nephalem to do somthing bad and he was right. It's nephalem that birthed the prime evil. Even Tyrael said that he should have trusted Imperius. Imperius was also the one who went against the prime evil 1-1 before anyone else. "Valor shall turn wrath" is basically what happened in D3. So I don't we will fight imperius in xpac. | Will imperius become an illidan stormrage kinda character?Thats the kind of vibe I get from him, I'm not big into warcraft, but from what I've played of the first three games he seems like this grey character whose over eager/angry/try hard kinda guy. Baal was part of the Prime Evil, along with Mephisto. Diablo even states to one of the aspects that, "Fail me and your fate will be the same as my brothers'". |

Storytelling 101. Characterise a character as a major douchebag so that people dislike him to make it more satisfying when he's defeated. His angst against the hero in D3 is totally unfounded, and his unwillingness to let him fight diablo is ridiculous seeing as he just got wtfpwnd. You don't have a character act like that much of a prick without it foreshadowing something(considering how formulaic the story in D3 is, this is a safe bet). Also, the nephalim didn't release the prime, adria did. Misattributing blame there.
Inre: the prophet from enchantress dialogue, that was I believe a character from the sin war novels, who was actually the angel inarius(?) who first created sanctuary with lilith and spawned the nephalem. I think he's already dead, but that rarely stops characters from being bosses in diablo. Adria is obviously going to be a boss. Not sure about malthius or whatever, I'd say he'll be plot central but not sure he'll be a boss. |

His ghost is also one of the ones you can run into in the Silver Spire on the way to Diablo.

The aspects are random. You don't ever fight all of them in one run, but it's possible to find the aspects of all 7 evils (Diablo, Mephisto, Baal, Andariel, Duriel, Azmodan, Belial).Last edit: 2012-05-28 22:00:35 |

You team up with your old enemy Imperius to redeem the corrupted Leah on her Hellish home world/plane. Malthael shows up halfway from exile with tidings of DOOM. In the end, you save Leah but have to shoot Imperius in the head because he's sworn to destroy her.
Be real, they've already got the plot tested.

This really made me laugh quite a lot.
I really hope we see Shen and learn who and what he is and the story of gem. Kill Adria and save Leah from The Abyss to get her to Mbwiru Eikura (or whatever that was written like). Also smack Imperius down old style as a cream :D |

I'm pretty sure the Prophet is really just a random side angel, I really don't see Blizzard making such a small detail into a whole expansion.
Here's my take on the expansions:
Imperius is angry (come on a freaking Nephalem stole his valor and killed Diablo)
Diablo is back...again (anyone notice that you didn't have to trap his soul into a Soulstone and smash it? they just sorta...threw his body down the tower...)
Tathamet Dragon
Also Covetous = Malthael imo |
