Their vP isn't horrendous. That is an over-exaggeration. Horrendous is not 60%. Horrendous is JYP vT (something like 7-30). |

Yeah, you can't really put serious pressure in the midgame with a 3CC build, resulting in a dead terran.
Well, Puzzle's opening was better with the earlier Nexus so Jjakji decided to get fast 3 CC to make up for it.
There is a timing with fast 3 CC where you max out faster then the protoss and if your scouting was good and you have the right composition (right number of vikings and ghosts, decent upgrades) you can attack and kill toss because he hasn't got the reinforcement possibilities and with good micro a terran army can win against toss pretty convincingly.
The problem in this game was the map. Cloud Kingdom doesn't allow the terran to ever attack against a 3-base-toss.
So the build Jjakji did is good but not on this map. |

Doubt it, non of them are really confident vs Protoss, i think they then will use CoCa who is strong vs Protoss. And just pray he will win the ZvZ after.
Not a bad idea but it always looks really dumb if you don't use your ace and don't win the game. So I think they will still use MMA.
True MMA would be there ace if he was in form even if it would be a protoss, but right now ? He is rather struggling atm atleast in GSL. We will see i guess Puzzle still can win to and things would look different  |

Yeah I agree with this. MMA have some (50%?) chance to win but it's not optimized at all. |
