I like his train of thought, he really seem like a calm and thoughtful personn. I did not watch a lot of his cast, but I like those I did, and the hype videos I saw from him were great. Thank you for everything Nuke, and good luck in the future =)

the bacchus grand final is just so fucking good. Actually all of his hype videos are so fucking good lol. I unfortunately never listed to him as much as some of the other english commentators as I transitioned to korean only commentary/watching more and more events live when he started being super gosu imo.
didn't know esportstv gave a copyright notices out though.
Loved you for ages Nuke, first time I stumbled on you I just wanted to watch everything and that's exactly what I did I went threw archives watching everything to catch up and I loved every single one of the commentaries you do. You made me realize the awesome of Stork and kept me entertained in low points and high points of my life. For that I offer thanks and wish you well in your future channel.
I remember the 2008 days when it was all about the five greats: Klazart, moletrap, Diggity, Cholera and Rise. Solo, duel and sometimes all 4 at the same time on the violetak channel. They were crafted and their commentary was of professional stature.
But then a nuclear lunch was detected...
NukeTheStars was kinda different. At first he reminded me of cholera. Just like him, Nuke was implementing quirks and comedy into his commentary. Even tough his knowledge of the game was flawed in the early days, Nuke brought genuinity to his commentary from day one. Not trying to be anything other than himself. It was clear that it was bambi on ice, but it was charming and unique. (Not that i was any better at the game in 2008)
Just like his icelandic friend (his american accent is so good you would not believe it) and MSL counterpart RanshinDA. Together they used to team up and give us their excellent co-commentary. And lets not forget their bunker chat.
Around 2008 and 2009 was a time where youtube bw commentary exploded. SC2GG arranging a commentary idol was testimony for this. Some of these people from this time transitioned into SC2 commentary, others announced their retirement or just simply faded away. But not Nuke. We could always count you Nuke. All the way to the end.
Thank you Nuke for 4 great years of providing us with your insightful, funny, genuine and passionate commentary. Korean Brood War has been the e-sport of our lives, but it would not have been the same without you.

I respect his decision. With the options turning more and more into "switch or die" for a caster like him I feel relieved he didn't switch. Switching would have ruined the sense of completedness that his channel will have after the last OSL. He will forever be the one true commentator for me. Although this makes me kind of sad, I still feel that he has somewhat completed his mission. BW will live on, but OSL will not, and the memories that the OSL brought us will be written with Nuke's voice. When he is done I will download his whole channel and put it on a USB so that when I have children I can, like my parents would do with LP-records, show them what used to rock my world.

Good luck in the future. With all the extra free time you can probably become a millionaire or something. While I haven't watched any commentaries in probably a couple of years now due to moving to Korean vods and SC2, I used to watch back in the day. Always sad to see more SCBW people leaving, but now that SCBW is leaving I guess there isn't much choice.
Enjoy all your new free time!

You along with the old crew (Klazart, Cholera, Moletrap, Diggity, I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody) were the reason why I got into BW, which led me into getting into SC2 as well =(. Makes sense I guess considering this is the last broodwar OSL. Good luck in your Lovecraft audiobooks!

Nuke (along with Jaedong) is the reason I watched BW. All of the happiness I have ever gained from Starcraft is because of him. I will remember him until the day I die

I have watched the majority of his videos for years. It's sad to see him go. I will do I have done for most of the OSL games (except a few Stork games that I couldn't wait for) and wait for Nukes videos before watching. Go Nuke, continue to cast this OSL with style and awesomeness.
So sad to see BW dieing... Nuke has been synonomous with BW for me for years now.
