I assume that many of you are weary of holding your pitchforks and setting fire to various organizations in a mob mentality. Let your fingers loose of their splintery grasp on your pitchfork and toss your anger and hatred aside. When someone in E-sports sponser's an event, like the most recent Red Bull Battlegrounds tournament, it is important for us to show sponsers that it leads to real proactive decisions in the business world. Basically, When you don'y give a F*ck what energy drink, gum, keyboard, breakfast microwave delight. Choose the product with the company that backs things you love like Starcraft 2 and E-Sports. Send them your love and support over the internet!
RedBull USA

For example:
RedBull USA,
Thank you for your wonderful support of the RedBull Battlegrounds Starcraft 2 tournament. I enjoyed watching the tournament and encourage you to continue to support and sponsor E-Sports! Because of your generous support of Starcraft 2 and E-Sports, I have made Red Bull my exclusive choice for energy drinks. Before, I would usually try energy drinks at random or purchase the cheapest product, now I am an exclusive Red Bull customer. I will now encourage all my friends to purchase Red Bull products also. Thank you for supporting E-sports and please continue to do so in the future.
Thanks, Andrew
If you can take a few hours out of your day to Ladder, play team games, play marine arena/probes vs zealots or even watch a 5 hour long sc2 tournament. You sure as hell have time to take 80 seconds to tell a sponsor how their support of E-sports has affected your product purchases and view of their company. The single most important thing to the growth of E-sports is sponsor support, if they can see people will purchase their products because their support of Starcraft 2, their marketing/PR department can get more of a budget to throw at events like the Red Bull battlegrounds and other events!
TL:DR click this link, and tell red bull you like their tournament. As well as any other sponsor. You stroke mine and i'll stroke your's

| What if you support EG also? Their sponsor is Monster energy. In any event, Red Bull is too expensive compared to the rest. : ( |

| This is a great idea. Show sponsors that there's more to the community than hunting frankenstein's monster, that our fickleness can extend beyond negative attention. |

Then just say you enjoyed the damn tournament and that you're thankful they put it on. Nothing wrong with that. |

Each time you want to drink an energy drink, drink two instead, one Monster, one Red Bull. For Esports.

OMG, Thank you Red Bull for such a well organized tournament. Although I didn't attend Battlegrounds even though I live near Austin, I hope you guys do this more frequently in Texas. Btw, the reason I didn't get tickets is because of finals. . So yall should do this sometimes during winter break or summer. Thanks for you hard work!!!

That's fine, as long as you aren't buying RockStar energy drink who doesn't give a F*ck about Starcraft 2.
Contact Monster Energy Drinks and tell them you appreciate their support EG, maybe they will boost EG's support (more money) and EG's ridiculous budget will accommodate one of your newest favorite players!
Getting the Sponsor's to try and one up competition won't hurt either.

Funnily enough my workplace worked on a project with NOS energy drink, so they sent all of the employees boxes of their stuff. And yet I'm still buying Monster and Red Bull when I'm out on a drive or whatnot... MLG EG RBL, one consumer!
So much caffeine @_@.
HEY I AM NOT WEAK. I DESTROY MY SLEEP SCHEDULE FOR ESPORTS THANK YOU VERY MUCH.Last edit: 2012-05-29 03:11:30 |

Let them know that for sure :D!!!! This leads to real changes in Marketing and PR budgets to sponsor events like these, if they can read a message like this to the CEO, Board ect. They say, why the hell aren't we putting more money at these brand loyal E-sports customers! |

| Would love to see the people who cried to Quantic's sponsors over the Destiny issue send this email to Red Bull. This wouldn't stir up any drama though so I doubt they're interested. |

I'm on my 3rd redbull of the weekend (I got a 3 day weekend).... and I had NEVER drank them before. I've never been an energy drink guy- in fact, I've gone to great lengths to make fun of them in the past. Co-workers etc. But, with their recent support of sc2 gaming, I've been purchasing Monster Nitrous and now RedBulls to the tune of about 1 every other day. I think it's important for the companies to know, that while on a smaller scale, the esports community is probably one of the most active and alert (sponsor wise) of all communities.
I've also found, quite ironicaly, that they are good for my gaming and the extra caffine and alertness is a great way to play Starcraft2. Also a great way to get past that after lunch lul. +100 internets to whoever at Redbull gave the thumbs up to this weekend. FANTASTIC TOURNAMENT! |

| The unique thing about this tournament is that it shows a sponsor can create a tournament all on their own fairly easily and relatively cheaply. hopefully every Sponser will want their own Starcraft 2 event. |

| I hope everyone jumps on the bandwagon for this. Would be pathetic and disgraceful to see the SCII community not, while mobbing the sponsors over negative issues. |

Compare Redbull Battlegrounds event cost to the the superbowl, and other major athletic sport's events. Do you think Pro football players multi-million dollar salaries come from people at the ticket line at the stadium. No, they come from advertisers like coca cola, and budweiser! |
