Act 1 Quest 7, you kill the mage then the 3 elites after, and you get the quest reward, takes about 3 minsish to do if you don't die to the elites, and nets you 90-100k exp.
That's the fastest leveling guide I've seen; it's what I used for my champions.
For the OP, I would just try to farm SK and look for a better weapon. Try to get up to 8k dps, then continue butcher runs.
GL, if you get super stuck, I wouldn't mind helping you with some butchers. Feel free to PM me if it is still too hard.

sorry can you elborate on that? you mean in the dark cellar (side dungeon) in the old ruins? If yes, I ran that a few times, no goblin, just a room full of zombies and maybe a normal chest. Sometimes it doesn't even appear.

Either act 2 zultan kulle runs, if you do this with others you can exploit and turn this quest in a boatload of times just off of one kill (with 2 people you can turn it in 8 times with clever game switching, it is complicated tho and I haven't tried it yet). Or if playing alone, act 3 quest 1 (nightmare) siege bastion runs, this is a 20 second run where you let a cannon barrage kill a bunch of mobs for you, you can do this all the way from 25 to 60 as the experience stays profitable because you get a multikill bonus which scales with level.

That's it. You simply didn't get lucky with the goblin spawn. The best way would be to find another friend or if you can 3 friends and they all farm the same goblin. Whenever you see the goblin, you just wait for ur friend to come to ur party, get MF's gear, and go all dps on him.
At worst, i got only 1 goblin spawn in 20 runs.

Kripp and Krippi been farming that all morning, basicly they got alot of yellows (stashpage full each) of wich they could sell about 6ish, rest were garbage. They had it running with 5 ppl tho, joining games that the goblins spawned in.
Its a gamble. Also they did it in HC and one of their friends got killed... lvl60... greed is good
Farming Siegebreaker in A3 can get you decent drops, and you can easily stack valor to 5 even if you are a bit undergeared since you get Tyrael to follow you everywhere on the quest. While you are at it check and do the Underbridge for a chance at a redespledent chest. Keep's depths can also have a redespledent chest on one of the levels. Search for those chests while stacking valor and then kill the boss.
Anybody knows if there's a difference between farming the aspect on spire level 1 (Where you walk past leah's ghost) and the one where you fight deckard cain etc.?
Is the loot better on the second one?

I did about 400 of the maghda/zultun/mira runs in the past week and I felt like drops got progressively worse a day before patch day. My wrist started hurting for the first time in a loooooooong time so I quit doing those runs. The monotony got to me finally. I was automatic as shit at doing em though as good as any bot could do it.
When I first started them I'd get sick 1h/2h axes/maces for over 1k dps. Now you rarely get those and even then prices dropped so much. They used to go 1 mil easily. I have 197% mf gear.
Another greed spawn is on the 'Path to Alcanus' waypoint in act 2. Seems to be about 30% for me, At the waypoint, the greed mob can spawn around there, as well as cultists, big mace wielders and some hounds. All melee mobs though and I have never seen a champion or elite right there so they are easy to kill.
You can also go immediately north for a high chance at a quest mob.

For some of us the game starts at higher difficulties. Normal and nightmare (and most of hell) have been made so easy, that they are really just time consuming. 2 champs to inferno is enough for me for now. If i want to level up my alts, i will prolly use some kind of trick too. Will take some time until i am interested in the no-challenge of normal and nm.
It was the same already in D2, I prolly played 1-2 champs per ladder to higher levels just by playing, but usually i had many accounts worth of 85+ champs at the end of the ladder.
