This is FXOpen e-Sports. A team forged from the dying embers of fOu, a team that has been through hell and back. A team built not only on skill and talent, but also hard work, conviction, determination and above all, an inspiring sense of spirit.

With experience going through generations of Starcraft progaming, FXOpen e-Sports is going to make its mark. It is not SK-IM, sitting arrogant on its throne of GSL championships, nor MVP or SlayerS with their aces DRG or MMA; it will not be Prime or StarTale, forgotten finalists of the past, nor the uppity Fnatic or Team Liquid vying for a chance on Korean soil. It will not be the struggling Code B team of NsHoSeo, ZeNEX or TSL, but FXO which will make their mark on the prestigious Global Starcraft II Team League 2012 Season 2.

handsome mofo, isn't he?

Let me tell you a story.

About a year back, many Korean teams were struggling to survive in the harsh dog-eat-dog world, competing for sponsors' attention. Teams like Prime, oGs, ZeNEX were all slowly dying out. fOu was in a similar fate. While For Our Utopia was a team with great heritage and insane talent, things were not going as smoothly as it could have, with the coach leaving, and the team captain, Twilight leaving soon after.

So what does fOu do? While StarTale and Quantic partner up, and Prime sets up a clothing store, fOu go and fucking set up a Forex company. Now, 'For Our Utopia' didn't sound like the most intimidating name for a most intimidating company, so BoSs came up with the badass name FXOpen.

Check it out - http://www.fxopen.com/ is one of the most prestigious and reliable foreign exchange companies with worldwide influence. US dollar low? It was because BoSs wanted it so. European crisis? One of the FXO players lost in a European tournament and FXO decided to take revenge.

In his spare time between managing FXOpen Trading and FXOpen e-Sports, BoSs also blogs regularly about his insights into the Forex and eSports world. While a bit of a controversial community figure, his selfless and unconditional support of his team is always heartening and BoSs' frequent posts on TeamLiquid are always welcome.

Let me introduce you to the Player-Coach, FXOChoya. Choya hails from CJ Entus and has transferred over to Starcraft II like a fish takes to water. Since debuting in Season 2, Choya taken out players like Mvp in his prime. Most recently, Choya put MMA into his slump after defeating him not only in the GSTL, but also the qualifiers for MLG.

Not only is Choya skilled beyond measure, but he is also one of the greatest coaches out there. Known for taking unknown B-Teamers and shaping them up to the top of S-Class, Choya's produced a lot of talent over the years. Players like PartinG, aLive, sC, Inori, Oz, Artist and Golden were all previously on fOu, but Choya decided they weren't good enough and threw them out. Any of these people would be A-teamers or even the ace on any other team, but Choya was already surrounded by excessive talent.

As probably the best player-coach, Choya's love for the team rounds it off. It's very common to see him running into the player booth to congratulate a win, or to give sage advice after a depressing loss. Choya's guidance and mentoring and his impeccable management have shaped fOu and FXO to be what it is today.

FXOLucky is our team captain, and definitely an impressive one at that. Remember last GSTL Season? While everyone was fawning over MarineKing and his ten kills - remember who else got ten kills that season. Yep, Lee In Soo took out Crank, Clide, Puzzle, Sparta, YangSongE, Life, Fin, JookTo, BboongBboong and Creator in dominating fashion.

With other achievements like IPL3 Runner-Up, Assembly Winter semifinalist, NaNiwa-GSL-Spot-Denier, MMA-all-inner and a string of high finishes in the KSL daily cups, and a win in EWM Season 8 over RevivaL, Lucky is an asset to any team. He's just waiting for NaNiwa to fall to Code A again to requalify and knock him out.

So I heard FXO lost its ace protoss, FXOz to Fnatic. You know why? He couldn't handle not being the best protoss on the team. This handsome chap, ladies and gentleman, is FXOTear, the latest and greatest protoss craze.

Tear burst on the scene recently with dominating wins in the EWM and KSL Team League. Defeating players like Classic, Sage, Major, Losira, Yoda, and Pet in the EWM, and 5-killing Prime in KSL and 3-killing StarTale, Tear is one of those online bonjwas that we all are afraid of. Just wait for his experience to settle a bit, and Tear will show you who is the ace protoss that FXO has wanted all along.

asdfOu had possibly the best handle in all of eSports, but when BoSs decided to set up the forex company, asdfOu swallowed his pride for the sake of consistency and teammanship. Once a Code S mainstay, asd is still putting up extremely solid results, recently having reached the finals of two Code B qualifiers. You know what they say - the qualifiers are more difficult than Code S itself, and it's only a matter of time before asd gets back into Code S and takes out players like Puzzle, sC, HerO and Boxer again.

Ahhh. The man we all love to hate - or hate to love. Either way, TheBest has made his mark on the eSports scene for his entertaining series against MarineKing in the Super Tournament. TheBest is no force to be trifled with, taking out Polt, Maka, and Trickster in their primes. He's become the TaeJa of the Korean Weekly Season 3, winning half of them in dominating fashion. Recently requalified for Code A, keep an eye out for The Best run ever back into Code S - TheBest will knock MMA to Code B, throw aLive out the window and destroy Mvp to grab back his rightful Code S throne.

TheBest has great vehicle control both in and out of the game

Mvp is the best terran around, you say? Unbeatable TvT, you say? Four GSL championships? GuMiho is not impressed. Not many people can boast that they went FOUR-one against Mvp just last season in GSL. Players like Squirtle, PartinG, MarineKing and NesTea always fall against Mvp, but GuMiho took out Mvp, hardly breaking a sweat in the RO16. Everyone though Mvp had crafted the perfect group, but it was hardly so. GuMiho then went on to pick apart Puzzle and DongRaeGu, but fell to some cheesy DRG play to get a solid SF finish.

Outside of his domination of Mvp, GuMiho is actually one of the most solid terrans out there, with two recent runner-ups in the Korean Weekly too. With recent wins over July, Vines, Crank, Life, Coca, ThorZaIN, SuperNoVa and SeleCT, few will doubt his tenacity and experience. With one of the best TvPs and TvZs in Korea, and a rapidly improving TvT, GuMiho is a force to look out for in the upcoming GSTL.

And let's not forget his other half...

Leenock is one of the best players in the world, and I doubt anyone can doubt that. With amazing ZvT - taking out aLive, Mvp, MMA, Maru, SuperNoVa - all solid TvZers and a great ZvZ - taking out NesTea, DRG, July and Coca - Leenock has two world-class matchups under his belt. While his ZvP may be not as powerful as his two other matchups, he's still taken out players like HerO, Sage, Oz, NaNiwa, Crank and AcE in recent times.

Leenock probably had the best month of any SC2 programer ever in November last month, with a domating 38-5 (or something like that) record at MLG Providence from the Open Bracket, and a GSL Runner-Up spot after taking out aLive and Mvp. Leenock and Jjakji went toe-to-toe to give us the highest level GSL Finals - incidentally, the first one that didn't suck.

Leenock will definitely be looking to not only take his GSL crown, but also to take the GSTL Most Valuable Player Title. Compare what he's done, and what you did when you were sixteen. Believe in Leenock!

Rising stars in the progaming world - keep an eye out for when FXO feels confident that they're rolling the other team so hard that some of these B-Teamers get some experience. As we all know, Choya and FXO are amazing at sculpting B-Teamers into S-Class gamers, and these are all players we should keep a discerning eye on in the future, lest we get another Oz or Leenock or Tear taking a GSL title from us.

These are the guys who are responsible for bring us premier-level tournaments like the FXOpen KotH and the FXOpen Invitational Series (aka FXOpenIS). Consistently drawing names like MarineKing, Puzzle, DRG and Jjakji, FXOpen Management introduces amazing production value. Check out the channel http://www.youtube.com/user/FXOpenesports/ for team interviews, games, and event coverage. These guys provide solid analysis and coaching and coverage of the team - so give them some love!

This was probably my only complaint aswell, because this thread is awesome ;D.

(Though his signature says Prime and FXO, and you can only pick one team, so maybe he/she switches? )
ThorZaIN, TLO, SaSe, Naniwa, Morrow, Demuslim, Illusion and more :)!

Yea, it changed. All my threads look like I use broken links because I used to put [IMG] around my Youtube URL's and that doesn't work anymore. Gotta fix that some time.
