In the IPL5 China Qualifier Group A, teammates IG.Comm and iG.XiGua both advanced to the next round. Comm reveal that after his poor NEO Star League run, he was seriously considered retirement. He thank to his fans and friends for encouraging him to keep playing. XiGua felt that he is currently in poor form, even become nervous during the event, and hope to get back to normalcy soon. IPL5 China Qualifier will return on June 2nd with Group B action.



Q: Congrats on advancing past the IPL5 China Qualifier group stage! How do you feel now that you have won your group?
A: A bit surprised to win first from this group. I thought I'd play Infi first, so I only prepared for ZvT yesterday.

Q: You easily 2:0ed XiGua on your first set. How'd it went down?
A: I felt very relaxed when playing against XiGua. I thought I probably would lose, so I played as though it's ladder. Somehow I won, so I am quite happy about it.

Q: You 2:0 XluoS next, what area did you have the advantage?
T/N: Group stage is Dual Tournament Format
A: XluoS was playing at the Blizzard College Tour. The Tour machines have low specs, so I got an advantage.

Q: What were Comm doing after NSL? How have your practice schedule been?
A: After dropping out of the NSL I was very discouraged and constantly thinking about retirement. I only stayed after receiving encouragement from my fans and friends to keep trying. A special thanks to you all! Besides practicing StarCraft 2, I have lost interest in all other games.

Q: The IPL5 China Qualifier winner will be invited to IPL5 Grand Finals. Your thoughts?
A: Previously I did not hold high hopes for the event, but now that I am in Ro8, I might as well aim to be the Chinese representation for IPL5.

Q: What's next for you?
A: I will concentrate on WCG. Playing in the WCG was my dream as a pro-gamer. I will try my best in the other leagues as well, but will try not to avoid worrying about winning or losing.

Q: Last words?
A: I am very thankful for my supporters. For so long, whether I win or lose, you guys support me without condition. I take your support to heart - I love you guys!

A: Don't felt anything particular, it's only ro8.

Q: Let's talk a bit about the set against Comm. How did you lose it?
A: My condition is poor; poor judgement; really my own fault. My play was ugly, and I am rather embarrassed by it. In this patch, ZvZ changed rather drastically and made it very difficult to be on the offensive. I am probably not that good yet.

Q: What's your goal for this IPL5 China Qualifier?
A: That flight to USA! It's more important than anything else!

Q: iG has start streaming; what's coming up on the calendar for XiGua and iG?
A: I will try to join every tournament I can and do my best in each match.

Q: Last words?
A: My condition and play are worse than before, so I hope to get back in shape soon. Somehow I am more nervous now than before when playing...
