When the government shut down Full Tilt, everyone who had money in those accounts had them frozen. Some people have had thousands of dollars stuck in these accounts for over a year now. Full Tilt Poker went under a huge investigation etc and all the accounts were locked on it. Anyone with an account lost the ability to log in or withdraw their money. So this guy might have found a way to get his money that was otherwise just lost... |

| Most poker sites have a system where the withdrawal is accepted but it still has to be confirmed manually by their support. You shouldn't get too excited before you have received the money and probably not encourage other people to use methods that both have questionable status legally and might not even work. |

I very very much doubt that your transfer will go through. The money is simply not there. All assets were seized by the DOJ.

I remember the day over a year ago, on 15th of april when I played poker while reading forums and they said that pokerstars.com and fulltilt.com had FBI emblems now and just loled and thought it was a troll. Shit got real there haha and thousands of "fulltime" pros got back to their minimum wage job.
Basically Onlinepoker is actually illegal in the US and over a year ago on a friday ( thats why it's called "Black Friday") DOJ decided to investigate them. Turns out that they were giving players money to play which they don't have but pokerstars got off the hook while fulltilt was revealed to be a bunch of scam scumbags. (Many famous live poker pros among them)
Gratz to the people who can finally withdraw their money from tilt. |

I want to clarify that I haven't received the money yet, just that I was able to access the account and the withdrawal options. Congratulations are a little early but at least people can see their accounts and that the balance is still there, and maybe have hope for some reason the withdrawal will go through.
I was also considering transferring the funds to a legit carbon account that has withdrawn before. I'll give that a try next and see what happens. |
