The natural and its two entrances might be a problem though, especially since one of them leads up to high ground, giving the attacker a significant advantage.

This is interresting. Please elaborate? I'm not against updating older maps. So far, I've only remade the aesthetics, removed godl and rocks. About the natural, maybe I remvoed 2 rocks too many.

What if main and nat were raised one level?
I think you would be fine in adding rocks from the third to the natural, and moving some of the third's high ground away from the natural so it cannot be sieged? Having said that adding rocks to the attackers entrance to the third might be better than the defender's, being that the alternate third puts you so far forward and open.
Put the rocks back on the nat->third ramp, watch pylons get imbaaaa. Who was the protoss who did that in motm... Cruncher! I liked him just because he actually looked at the maps before playing.

Not sure, I don't think you should change the map's structure. You could add rocks either on the ramp to 3rd, or on the low ground to help wall maybe? I just meant it'd be fun, I like the middle and sides for battling, and the 3rd is cool, not sure it'd be balanced because of the natural and all the forward bases. With updated gold I think that is not too imba to restore them. A PF is super strong there either way regardless of gold giving same mining with 4 less scvs.
