I've never been so mad.

Is there something I'm missing here?
I remember Ret vs Mondragon in BW had a story about it. I can't find the thread now, but I guess Ret chose a race that Mondragon didn't like during TSL 2. IMO during a tournament you are sort of prepared to face a race, and the other guy simply change it in the last second. OT: I find this a stupid idea for ladder. I would find it pretty nice to play only TvP, PvT and PvZ, but there is no way it would work. If you want to play only these matchups, find a practice partner. I don't think that even more than 50% of the ladder thinks this is a good idea, the increase in utility of the implementation for them would be smaller than the loss of utility for the rest of the ladder. And thank the gods that blizzard doesn't listen to the comunity very much. All these ideas seem to have come from a mind of a 12 year old (not this idea specifically, just a rant in general, and I know about ideas from a 12 year old because I still remember all the ideas I had then).
I know for a fact that they made Ret pick his race a week or 2 ahead of time in TSL2. Also, the unexpected aspect of it was that Ret noramlly had played TvZ in the past, but had just switched to playing ZvZ in preparation for his move to Korea, where they did not allow race switching. |
