http://www.twitch.tv/zsuperstorm There will be a webcam and commentary! I will also be streaming at 720p, I might occasionally have some music in the background which will usually be kpop but I listen to everything!
This is going to be a journey to high masters/GM stream. I'm a masters protoss right now currently.
So here is a little bit on my gaming background/history. Before I switched to starcraft 2 I was a competitive halo player. I competed in halo 2, halo 3, and very little in halo reach. In halo 2 I was just known online by the alias MuDShoT, I never really competed in halo 2 at a live event though. In halo 3 I attended my first live event at MLG San Diego 2008 where I got 28th. After that I just played in local tournaments and a few out of state lans where I won some money. Overall from tournaments I won a couple grand, never won any money at an MLG. Anyways, I made top 32 at MLG Dallas 2009 and after that I never placed in the top 32 again. I went to 4 other events and 2 of them I was knocked out early
So halo reach came out and for any of you that has been a fan or is a fan of the halo series knows that this game pretty much stabbed the halo series. Halo reach is a joke, and I can't ever see myself trying to compete in that game. So I saved up money and went on newegg and bought parts to build my own gaming computer and went on from there.
At first I was going to give CSS a spin and after a month of playing I decided that I really didn't want to compete in another FPS. I've always been a fan of RTS games and played age of empires and warcraft 3 quite a bit, but I was always casual and never made an effort to get good at them.
When I heard how big starcraft 2 had gotten and had a lot of my friends that played/recommended it, I decided to give it a try. From the moment I logged on I knew it was the game I wanted to make an effort to go pro at... kind of. See, at that stage I was still debating on trying to go back and play halo reach, even though I hated the game, I had put so much time into the series I just didn't want to lose all of that time for nothing. But alas, I came to my decision and put the controller down and came to starcraft. And that is where I am today! I'm going to be putting my very best effort to going pro at this game, and I'll stream as much of that journey as I can! I hope that you guys will enjoy my stream. I ♥ this entire community, even if you don't decide to watch my stream!
I recognize your name, I used to avidly follow MLG Halo 3 and I'm pretty sure I saw you in the results and/or read about you on the forums. Like you, I also switched to SC2 when Reach came out. Anyway, good luck on your journey to GM.
