Okay, I've been trying to google up a solution to this for a few hours now and I've gotten nowhere, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. Basically I started my laptop this morning and found out that it no longer displays certain things properly. This seems to be from a program to program basis, as some things work just fine, others not so much. To illustrate my problem:
I don't really know what to try at this point, I've spent the last while just doing system restores to try and find a point where this problem isn't present, to no avail thus far. And the fact that the system restore window looks like that doesn't help, either.
So, anyone got an idea what could've caused this, and/or how to undo it?

well I can't really help you except for the obvious stuff, have you done a virus check or did you install any new programs that might have caused this; have you done anything that changed your computer before turning it off yesterday?
Nope, haven't installed anything, no virus (well, at least nothing has been detected) and I don't remember changing anything that could've caused this :/

Heruka! Changing font settings didn't do anything, but after a dozen or so restarts and system restores it finally works like it's supposed to. I still have no idea what caused it though, but I guess as long as it doesn't reappear I'm just gonna be happy it works.
