I started continuously losing to gas 2 rax, marauder bunker rush etc and its getting extremely frustrating. I will give a few replays but i just dont understand how I am supposed to open in response or what I should do. I am a low diamond player and just got promoted and now all i play is PvT. My improvements are definitely very obvious in mid to late game but my early game is still horrible and I lose all my games in the first 7 minutes. Not really sure what to do besides keep 1 gate expanding and figure it out as i go or what. I saw what he was doing one game and tried to straight up 3gate robo to expand cause i didnt want to just lose and i ended up doing just that anyway

You need to be stalker heavy to defend a 2rax, preferably going up to 6 by the time the push hits.

If you want more advice aside from "build stalkers" there's a build I used to use when I played Protoss. It sacrifices a little bit of economy, but you still get your expo up and your stalkers warp in time to defend a 2rax (or pressure if they skip their bunker off of a fast expand). The fast warpin also means you have the ability to punish bunkerless or single bunker play, especially if there's no natural ramp.

Build is as follows:

9 pylon (chrono as usual)
13 gate (chrono before gate, as usual)
15 gas
16 pylon (chrono)
18 core
22 Stalker (chrono stalker + WG)
24 Nexus
24 Stalker (chrono WG)
26 Pylon (you have cut probes at this point, capped at 26)
Build ~2 more probes
~28 Stalker (chrono)
Either proxy your next pylon if you plan on being aggressive or keep it at home.

This build gives you (iirc) a warp-in time of ~6:15 with your 3 stalkers, allowing you to defend a 2rax or put on pressure as previously mentioned.

After this you can transition into what you want, I personally go twilight, but it's up to you. The downside of this build is the cuts in economy, but you can normally make up for that by being aggressive early game and forcing SCV pulls on the bunker.

Play safer.

Seems to me the metagame atm is 1 gate expand and in response an awful lot of terrans are going for 2 rax aggression with scvs.
I've been going gate robo gate with a fast obs to their nat to spot if they are doing an aggressive opening or expand first. A few immortals crush bunkers on the low ground making their contain worthless. Keep in mind they are rushing for army and pulling scv's to make bunkers so expanding late is fine.

If they go for a gasless expand I'm a little behind on economy, but thems the breaks. Usually I rush right to colossus if that's the case and go punish them for playing so greedy.

This helped me a lot with agressive gas openings from Terran (I am around your level).

3 gate robo can hold 2 rax (as seen by the game on Daybreak where the guy BMs you) but I think it delays your expansion too long. Although in that particular game I think the reason you lost is because Terran was able to get away with the 3rd base.

I use a ST_parting fe (guide is on TL) and use full chrono on WG and rush to 3-4 gates if I scout marauders with my initial probe, zealot w/e. With the econ you get from the early nexus, you can afford to get these gates really early, + an earlier nexus so more CB on warp gate research. Then you just delay til you have a few warp ins and crush it, pulling probes if they pull scvs.

As a terran I can say that If I'm going to be doing 2 rax maurader pressure then nothing makes me happier than seeing a protoss going 1 gate FE or nexus first, however if I see something like 3 gate expand or a 1 base robo build into expand then I would be much more wary of attacking. If you can, scout after pylon and play reactively to what the terran is doing. If you see gas or two rax try doing a 1 base robo build. Gate>Robo>Gate then expand is a pretty solid build that can do a pretty good job at stoping most terran rushes and cheeses.
