I have been playing SC2 for about 3 weeks and I'm still trying to learn everything so I am fully aware there is much I need to learn.However,I recent played a Terran who just crushed me.Normally I can watch the replay and and realize where I screwed up but this game I just have no idea what went wrong.Here's a break down-
1) I opened with an "Ice Fisher" style build.That shut down his early marine possible bunker push.
2) Build up b/ling and waited till he expo-ed then busted him.I got a decent number of scvs on expo and main and forced him to lift his expo.
3) I pick up my third now that I know he cannot do much and tech into muta.I do light harass with the muta but don't waste much gas into it.
4)He takes his second with missile turrets then tries to take this third.I crush the third with ling/muta before it completes so I just take my fourth and start upgrading to hive feeling comfortable.
5)At this point he has to be broke so he double expans.I manage to shut both down with lings before they become operational and take my fifth.
6)Without any income he just charges straight at me with nothing but marine medivac.At this point my hive is complete and I'm at 200/200 with ling/bling/muta/corrupter/broodlord so yeah easy. Except he just stims and kills the whole freaking lot......
7) Well I'm on 5 bases with 2 macro hatches so I just remax 200/200 on ling/bling with infestors. Stim,scan, and two hatches drop.
8)I have overlords vomiting on every expo place so I know he is only on two bases.So I remax 200/200 the third time on my main and macro hatches with nothing but ling/bling as I'm going broke.He stims and just kills everything.
I have no idea what I did wrong or what I could have done differently.The end score showed me building 4.5x the number of units he did and about 2.5x the income.I know and understand that Zerg is the "hard" race and requires allot of skill so I don't expect to win allot but I honestly don't know what I should have done against this.
Any advise,ideas,or thoughts would be great.Cheers guys! |

Make sure your upgrades were where they should be, 3/3 marines kill everything really fast, sounds like that's what happened. If you can't engage, you should always try to counter attack with lings, easiest thing to stop a terran from reinforcing, and even do a lot of damage if their wall is down.
Zerg can have a steeper learning curve at first, but they become much easier later down the road. GL |

| Add some infestors to your army. Fungal Growth is great against mass marines and helps protect your broodlords. |

| drop.sc is a good place to upload replays. i'll be waiting for this one. in no scenario do i see a marine medivac army beating 400 supply of zerg army. |

Yeah sucks when you draw marineking on the ladder.
The fact that you 'know and understand that Zerg is the hard race' makes me think you have some mental issues to get over before learning anything new. |

Use the attack-move command instead of move next time. (Press a and left click instead of right clicking).

| Yeah this doesn't add up. I suggest you be more careful of overestimating yourself, because the first step to getting better is admitting that in your current state you play like complete shit. If you've been playing for 3 weeks, you probably have only a very thin grasp of even the fundamentals, so you should make sure to accept that. |

| It makes zero sense that a 5 base zerg on Hive can lose to 2 base marines, the fact you did suggests there was at least 1 gigantic hole in your game that you seem to not have noticed. Until you post a replay, little else can be said unfortunately. |
