We're offering free coaching to everyone willing to pay (just kiddin', we'll do it for free!)
If you're interested in advice on how to do anything we'll gladly answer!
Examples could be:
- Drafting
- Supporting
- Carrying
- Farming
- or anything else concerning DotA (no questions are dumb, but please PLEASE stay away from questions that are easily googled.)
Requirements for us to take you through a coaching session
- Skype, a microphone and decent English (To be able to help you at our best it'll simply be nice to talk to you throughout the game, typing while playing is suboptimal and we wont do this. If you do however just have a simple question we'll gladly answer you with text)
- A brain (By saying this, I don't mean you have to be good at DotA (that would be weird if that was a requirement but we would like you to understand what we're saying...)
- Respect
- Manners
- Interest (This is probably the most important one, if you want us to do this for you we expect you to be interested in what we've got to say.)
- Being able to play on USE or Europe (This is our prefered servers, we'll have massive delay on west.)
- Please be very specific when you ask for help (What do you need, why do you need it and when are you able to get our help)
I'll also have to say that some of our answers might reflect our own opinion on what's best. This might not always be the most popular choice, but this is our way to do things.
The roles of me, Groendahl and Egon (on our team)
I'm playing Chen, Enchantress and hardsupport. - I'm also leader and drafter on the team (4th and 5th role)
Egon is playing solo middle (2nd and 3rd role)
Groendahl is playing offlane (2nd and 3rd role (his wr is quite amazing o.o))
Both Egon and Groendahl can assist in how to play carry.
You can either ask questions in this thread or write me or Egon Olsen a PM here on the forums for a coaching session (Coaching will most likely be playing a public game together or simply watch a replay of yours together)
To reach me write a PM to Ivz on this forum.
Looking forward to coaching some of you guys if you have any questions, advice or anything else related to this matter feel free to either write a PM or post it in this thread
Hopefully you'll respect the fact that we're hardworking players on a very ambitious team and we therefore wont have time for you guys all the time, but we'll try to do our best to get some coaching done.
Also please remember we're from Denmark and we're therefore in the timezone known as 1+ GMT. We're mostly online after 14:00 1+ GMT and this is when we'll be able to coach. (when we do not practice with the team)

When do I join the game as a carry?
As a rule of thumb you'll want to join the game as a carry when your hero peaks. Examples could be: morphling gets ethereal, riki gets diffusal etc. heroes often have more than one peak. You'll also generally have to help your team if they're falling too far behind. Remember that this is obviously situational, but this rule of thumb will help you to decide wheter you farm or not.Last edit: 2012-08-05 04:02:56 |

| I am interested in developing my public game mindset to a competitive one. I feel like I lack a specific favoured role and the correct contacts to enter the scene. I know this isn't exactly what you are offering, but I'm looking to break into the world of casting and I could use some advice on the best ways to cast pro matches, and hopefully find some pro scrims to cast. If you can help me out with that in any way I would greatly appreciate it.
