Hello TL!
When I play SC2, and I play background music. But the music I play has lyrics and I find it distracting. In MLG and Day[9] streams, however, I hear these non-lyrical music.
What is the term for these "non-lyrical" music and where can I find some?
Could you recommend me some of your favorite "non-lyrical" music?
Thanks, Jineus |

Depends a lot on the style of music you like. If you like electronic music, just search through the genre for artists you like. If you like classical music, do likewise.
You can also usually find "instrumental" tracks of almost any song. This is basically the song with the lyrics not present and just the instrumentals playing. |

| You can call them instrumental, soundtracks, ambient, or scores depending on the type of music. The best ones (imo) would be the Inception film soundtrack and the Final Fantasy soundtracks. |

Day[9] generally likes a lot of electronic music of varying styles.
Electronic Music Guide
That website is really good for explaining the different genres in electronic music, have a browse and see what you like.
Personally, I listed to a huuuge variety of music while playing, from dance to trance, alternative metal/rock to classical and pretty much everything except some pop. I think from the sounds of it, you'll like trance. |

| I listen to a lot of TLO's stuff on Grooveshark, as well as a fair amount of trancey - electronic - ambient stuff. Some good artists are Hammock, Delerium, (mandatory) Explosions in the Sky, Emancipator, Trentemoller, Andrew Bird, Rachel Grimes. |
