| I was wanting to pick up another SC2 license and have it sit on the korean server. This would be so that I could play with my friends on the NA server, but do ladder on the Korean license. Has anyone tried this and had any issues with the SC2 clients conflicting? I plan to have both the Korean and the NA version installed on the same machine at the same time. |

I can say this, its much easier than using the relocalizer.
I have had no problems. As long as you buy the "korean account", and also have an "NA" account |

Why don't you just wait for HotS since you're going to have global play.
This alone just blows my mind to begin with since blizzard has been had their games be global play with WC3 + SC/BW and yet somehow "forgot" to do it with SC2 WoL. Completely stupid if you ask me anyways. |

| I actually just got ahold of one like a few days ago. I have both the korean client and NA client installed. Just make sure you install them in 2 different places (i.e have one installed in Program Files x86 and the other installed in Program Files) |

Whatever their reason behind it it had nothing to do with Activision. Activision was bought by Vivendi, they didn't buy Blizzard. They operate separately and always have.
I don't see how people can honestly think anything Blizzard does has to do with Activision considering they still go by 'soon' development cycles while Activision subscribes to the spam as many sequels as possible once a franchise gets popular development cycle (Guitar Hero, CoD). |

You can just name the main folders differently like SCII and SCIIKR and it'll work fine.
I have 2 NA accts and a KR acct and don't have a problem, minus some lag problems of course.

Vivendi technically bought Activision, not the other way around. They merged, with Vivendi maintaining the majority of the shares. |

| Getting a KR account requires a KR ID, which means you either need to be a Korean resident or live and have a visa in Korea. That's the reason most people go for the Taiwan accounts, since those don't require a Taiwan ID or ARC #. |

look for the tw versions on e-bay or other major online retailers. These ones do not require IDs..etc. like the korean versions.
but, I would just recommend waiting for the Global Play function coming out with HoTS, you will be able to play on any server without having to purchase additional copies. |
