Hello everyone! Charles from CyberActiv here to do some interest gauging! CyberActiv Production being an eSports leader in Canada is willing to try and setup a funride for fellow Montrealers who wants to go to the NASL/WCS Canadian/Tribes/CSL Canada Finals.
For us to setup this awesome tour, we need to know what kind of interest we can get. Maybe you don't have a lift, or the patience needed to drive there or you are simply too many for 1 car or maybe, even, you'd like to actually get there with other awesome, like minded people!
But these things cost money and we need to have the word out there. So this is the main source of interest gouging. The resonse here is what will decide if we do it or not. Tell your friends who want to come!
If you'd like to go, while not legally binding at all, please rate how much you would pay to go from Montreal to Toronto and back. (Obviously you'd need to pay your events tickets and Hotel. For the Hotel, The Four Points by Sheraton has an awesome deal for people going to this event, check it on NASL's page)

Ok folks, Since were close to the final time to book a room i'll say this :
1) We are actually proud to see this kind of interest, wow! That would be a 100% commitment...
2) BUT bejsesus these kind of Buses cost a lot. a LOT more than we planned, we are looking into last minute possibilities, but it's not looking good, especially since the max people are ready to pay. I'm not blaming you guys, im blaming the bus companies.
3) it seems like the leaving time coulda been an issue too. from what i was able to gather a lot wanted to leave on the friday, ready to take friday and monday off, but most wanted to leave really early in the night (hence cutting costs for us) of saturday.
In restrospect, we learned a lot. Montreal eSports fans are awesome. They want eSports to happen and we know, from this and Barcraft Montreal that Montreal is THE city of eSports in Canada and we will make sure to live up this city soon!

I think you mean to use the word gauging rather than the much more negative term of gouging so you dont sound like your trying to scam people with over priced services
