I guess he should as he adds almost nothing to their roster.
Yeah because making it to the finals of a tournament filled with a ton of pros isn't a great result at all.

Granted, Daisy isn't a very well-known player and I have a ton of respect for up-and-coming pro-gamers, but C'MON! Lalush deserves the seed after playing so well through this tourny. He's proven that he's one of the best that the EU has to offer.
if lalush is one of the best EU has to offer i`m kinda sad.
LaLush hasn't been considered a top European for ages now, not even Daisy really, if one goes by tournament results; it's really surprising to see the more consistent pros fall to these players. I only watched Fenix vs SjoW and LaLush vs Daisy, and both SjoW and LaLush seemed really lackluster in my opinion. Fenix is still pretty good after not playing for so long which is great :D Daisy is not bad, probably at the same level as Korean B-teamers, and just below Code A level.Last edit: 2012-06-13 09:28:59 |

In TSL3, all but one of the runner-ups qualified based on points. Odds are Lalush will make it in. |

We did tweak the points awarded so second place isn't basically auto-qualification any more. That said, Lalush still does obviously have a great start. |

I believe it said on liquipedia that he was only not allowed to participate in TSL3, not a permanent banLast edit: 2012-06-13 12:41:24 |

Also keep in mind that there are 10 NA/EU qualifiers and only 8 point spots. So unless two players are both runner-ups and later winners, every second place finisher will need to fend off the other second placers, beyond just the consistent high finishers.
To the poster directly above, yes, Dimaga has served his ban.Last edit: 2012-06-13 12:49:41 |

| Daisy lives in Europe so he's eligible. It's national AND resident of Korea, not an OR |

? Does Daisy not fit this? Sorry if it was already covered in the thread (though I'm sure it already was).
Daisy currently lives in Berlin, so from what I understand he can particpate in NA/EU qualifers, only Koreans living in Korea aren't allowed. so people like Golden, Sleep, Violet are allowed. |

So is spades banned for life (if I am reading that right)? I don't think he would ever be good enough to qualify but I am curious. |

| kinda shocking, i never heard of Daisy, when i left for work he was up against morrow i thought morrow would win that match. Guess i was wrong lol, congrats to Daisy, just like ThorZaiN did last tsl, someone could come out of know where and make a name for themselves in this tournament. One of the things i really like about TSL and this system they use. |

So Daisy is a korean right? Edit: Yup, slightly silly having euro qualifiers etc if expatriates from Korea is going to win them anyway.Last edit: 2012-06-13 16:00:55 |
