They said they are thinking about either putting dimishing returns or straight up reducing atk speed on current/future items (i.e. all 15% atk spd items are now 12% for example).

In terms of buying on GAH and selling on RMAH? I've had best success with rings/amulets, and a weapon. Gloves seem feasible too.

Made about 311$ after paypal charges can potentially make 300 more. Might use blizz balance and try to buy/resell for more money. If that fails I'll just have a friend post an item for what my blizz balance is and just put the money in his paypal.

I had expected prices to drop a lot faster than this. I listed a 1150 dps blue crossbow and it actually sold for $7.50 just a couple hours ago. Something is very wrong here. Such "below the quality/rarity curve" weapons are down to ~500k on the GAH, despite continued inflation.

it has to do with the notification thing on your phone. set that up through blizzard before pressing that ok button.

As Leyra mentions above, rings/amulets seem to be the easiest to sell. I wouldn't bother with other salvage level items as they'll just take up space from the 10 auction limit.

Just sold my Bul-Kathos Wedding Band with IAS for $100 (got it for 1.75 mil). Feels kinda surreal departing with such a great buy (experimented with selling all my gear), but now I can at least get HOTS for free.

gold requires "work" in grinding for items and selling them on AH

USD is already earned through actual work and people are choosing to spend USD so they can just play instead of put in work to build up gold. these people also apparently don't have a desire to gold buy and would rather buy through RMAH than through a third party.

it will be interesting to see how much gold seller gold costs versus RMAH gold when that becomes possible
