It really depends on whether you are going to link a credit card or your bank account to your paypal. If I remember correctly, with a credit card you are verified immeadiately. With a bank account, paypal will send two small deposits, which you will need to set up you paypal. And that can take up to two weeks. I didn't need an authenticator to use paypal, but I had to sign up for the SMS alert thing.

US server has a high population by the way. Prob quite a bit higher than Europe since I think Europeans were defaulted to US gateway for some reason.
Thats why the huge econ disparity. But it works in both directions. People have been flipping items like crazy. And the guy on the end gets stuck. Think of it as a game of chicken, economics version. Who can flip the most, its a game of brinkmanship.
Neither realm is "dumber" than the other one. That's just silly. Its pure economics and numbers. Particularly because RMAH is opened up to people with money but not a lot of time or gold.Last edit: 2012-06-15 18:03:30 |

that doesn't matter too much, upto the point where RMAH was released, all those players sold / bought items for gold which created a bigger pool of supply & demand than in europe. |

You dont need SMS protect if using Blizzard Balance as the target.

Like did the prices go up the first day? or down? ect. (obviously it makes sense that the price will go down, but just because it makes sense doesn't mean it's going to happen) |

Unfortunately no, money in your Bnet balance cannot be later changed for paypal money, you have to transfer it right away when making the auction. Go buy something that's like $95 on RMAH with that money, then sell it for like $70 and payout to paypal this time. It'll be a horrible transfer rate, but better than nothing I guess. |

You can't buy WoW subscription time, which I find super dumb, but there is no mention of not being able to buy future blizz games. If what you say is true, then this blizz balance is indeed worthless. |
