i guess it's an "investment". meh. i'm a bit disheartened that the game has turned into an economic beast. maybe i'll just try to make my $60 back and call it a day. wouldn't mind a reset either
Because its novelty, this will look like this for max 1 week than it will normalize, so i guess... strip your character naked and earn as much as you can |

Unless I'm mistaken you can just use your debit card and call it a credit card right? At least that works in the US with my debit card and all my friend's.

I'm disheartened as well but I'll make a bunch of money off it while I can. I made a hardcore character with a couple of my friends tonight after we all posted our gear for like $250 per person.
I'm pretty sure at this point since RMAH has gone live there will never be a reset.

hehe, i chuckled. i thought the same, blizzard can't justify any resets now that people are legitimately purchasing equipment...maybe they'll provide a one month warning before any resets and lock all the AH's...
bad luck for me as i only started playing the game last week so i'm not even 60 have no decent equipment haha. oh well. that's what you get for working full time overseas

| I'm holding off on buying for now, once 1.03 hits I think prices will have gone down significantly due to increase in supply as people currently burnt out return to play again. At least, I think that might happen... |

The fuck. I was thinking oh hey maybe 15 dollars for the top notch shit and stuff....lets see what RMAH is like in places other than Asi-WHAT THE FUCK 500 EUROS? 250 DOLLARS? 100USD/15MINUTES?
D3 gonna break real life econ man. Who the fuck wants to work for minimum wage when you can easily putz 20 dollars per hour, not to mention 400USD/h playing some buggy, just released for a month video game
I know you cant take the money out yet but when moneys are getting this big, along with the near future legendary buff patch, wtf is Blizz gonna do with all that money in a bunch of players accounts?Last edit: 2012-06-13 17:07:02 |

| I don't know why everyone is so surprised that people are paying so much for virtual items (well maybe it's just cause I have experience with fools like these). Prices will drop relatively as supply increases and more people try to get in on making real cash, but people will still be paying $250 for pixels. I suppose it's true many of these buyers are kids with rich parents who don't care, but the point stands that the buyers with no sense of restraint will always be here. The only exception would be if the market gets very saturated with high end gear which may be the case given 1)the patch and 2)summer vacation. |

All vanity items are virtual. There is no difference between real life bling and video game bling, it's all just perception. To me, the biggest retard is someone who spends 10k on a watch, glasses or similar nonsense
I'd never spend money to buy stuff ingame because it already drops off the monsters I'm slayin' but I don't think these people are any more retarded than your average consumer. |

| Ok I didn't realize you can't convert b.net credit into paypal cash. The in-game description confused me and now I have 10 auctions posted and some which finished into b.net balance with nothing to do with it.. wonderful. I thought you could change b.net balance into real currency after the fact and simply incur a 15% fee when cashing out. I already own D3 and SC2 and don't plan on spending money on buying other people's money. Essentially I have a balance that won't be used for anything except for future blizzard games, assuming they allow you to use this balance to buy them. Pretty peeved at the moment |

| I still fail to see how selling digital stuff you find for 250$ is a bad thing. So many people whining about how its gonna ruin all sorta stuff, all without any arguments or something along the lines of 'i say its bad, therefor its bad' |

No sales yet :< but I'm hopeful!
I imagine prices have yet to stabilize given it's only been one day. Still, color me surprised people are buying 250 dollar items for a 60 dollar game. |

I'm slightly confused, do you need an authenticator to use RMAH?
E: After scrolling further in the official forums qq thread I was reading apparently you only need it for battlenet balance or whatever and not for paypal, but still need SMS thing.Last edit: 2012-06-13 18:13:06 |

for RMAH you can either use Battle.net Balance, Paypal, or both
to use Battle.net Balance, an authenticator is needed
to use Paypal, you need a cell phone that supports text messaging |

| Just unlocked Iskatu today QQ. Going to try to avoid selling off my monk gear, although I could probably make a fair chunk of change off of it(definitely enough to pay for D3, more than that idk). |
