own3d 60 fps laag

hi,
i watch destinys stream quite often and NEVER had problems with laag or anything.

today / or yesterday he changed the quality from 30 fps 1080p to 60 fps 720p.
now the stream is stuttering every 2 seconds and its kinda unwatchable.

i have a 3k connection which means i can download with about 370 kB/s
BEFORE the change the stream was flawless it needed about 360 kB/s
now it needs about 380 kB/s on highest settings thus its laggy for me.

obviously changing to 480p seems to be the best option for me...
i tried it, but it still laags O.o but now it CANT be my internet,
the download-speed-meter shows about 230 kB/s all the time.

my system:
q6600 @ 2.4 GHZ
geforce 9600gt 512 MB
4 GB RAM

i know its not the best but it should be enough

drivers are the newest.

maybe someone had the same problem and there is an easy way to fix it.

edit: is it possible to kinda "force" own3d to 30 fps if i tweak some settings?

Its not you, it lagged for me too and I have a 20 Mb connection. I even changed it to 480p and still the same problem.

Perhaps he set up something wrong?

My CPU is clocked slightly lower than his but i can still run 720p60@fast preset fine, faster or veryfast drops CPU load a ton without massive quality drops as well, but he shouldnt have an issue with that, 720p60 is easier on the encoding side than 1080p30 at the same preset

His VOD is stuttering heavily even with buffering etc so it is almost certainly a problem with his setup or stream, maybe had the wrong server set or something

"tone it down" doesnt really say much, especially as encoding side CPU load should be fine

Yeah, really laggy for me, I max at about 335 kb/s and 720p stream about maxes it, but usually with no problem. Since the change, I can't watch Destiny's stream in HD, and I hate 480p.

No lag for me at all, he increased the bitrate as well, so thats probably the problem.

he had bitrate too low, when he increased it substantially, the stream smoothed out.

the stream works fine for me today.

with firefox it stutters but opera is perfect.
(i have issues with firefox, twitch laags sometimes to (even the soundbarcontrol - lolz) so i guess firefox sux on my pc

)

edit: ok here comes the laag again every 10 seconds mini freeze

Not laggy for me, but it looks like everything is x1.5 speed, it's pretty annoying because the quality is so nice :/.

At first I thought it was going to be the case juste for 1-2 minutes as it happens sometimes when you alt+tab, but here it's always the case...
