Deutschlandpokal #2 by inStarcraft.de & dlcompare

After the huge success of the first Germany Cup (Deutschlandpokal) in April, we decided to run a second one: inStarcraft presents Germany Cup #2 with our new sponsor dlcompare.

Format
This time there will be a mixture of invites, sign-ups and qualification tournaments: 8 players will be directly invited and 16 players will be taken from mail sign-ups open to Master and Grandmaster league. The remanining 8 players are taken from two open qualification tournaments. As the name suggests, the tournament is limited to German players, which means you need to have a German passport or identity card (Personalausweis). If there are doubs in a certain case, the tournament admin can request a copy of an official document.

Similar to the first Germany Cup, the tournament consists of a qualification process and and the main event. The mail singup was running until June, 10th 2012.

Price Pool
The price money has been extended from the original money sponsered by dlcompare to currently 300€. The exact prize pool will be announced shortly before the main tournament. You can still raise the the total prize money pool via donations. If requested and your donation is at least 5 euro, you will also be mentioned as a sponsor on our tournament website. Send your donations via PayPal to paypal@ingame.de with the subject "Deutschlandpokal Spende" and a message if you want to be mentioned as a sponsor. (If you do, please add if via nick name or real name.)

Livestream
The complete tournament will be casted by Thyke on inStarcraft TV.
