AnnYung completely destroying Rain.

Well that was silly, the times when Marauders were the counter to banelings are long gone, Zergs have since learned to not a-move them |

| Why the stubborn refusal to build siege tanks against banelings? It's like he was trying MKP's pure bio / high medivac count against ling/festor but didn't realise that it's only really solid against ling/festor. Rain didn't even try dropping his bio. Annyung didn't even play that well and still managed to win easily. |

I realize there's a problem with tvz atm but seriously, almost all tvz games played so far have been the zerg outplaying the T, not any balance BS. |

Prime v FnaticRC 0 - 0Map:Atlantis Spaceship5.00Annyung spawning as the red zerg in the 1 o'clock position. Rain spawning as the blue terran in the 8 o'clock position. Hatch first for Rain, followed by pool. Rain going CC first into 1rax and 1gas. Fast third Hatch for Rain before pool finishes. Reactor going down on the rax for Rain before fast third CC. Bunker on the natural for Rain.
10.00 Two more Barracks added on for Rain. Double Engineering bay started.
Double gas on the natural of Annyung. 1/1 started by Rain as he scouts the third.
Double tech lab on the barracks for Rain. Macro Hatch and double evo chamber for Annyung.
Stim started for Rain, along with Combat Shields. Metabolic Boost started by Annyung, taking 4 more gas.
Rain taking the third on the triple gas expansion. Baneling Nest started by Annyung, as Lair is started.
3 more Barracks and 1 Factory on the way for Rain, moving out with a small group of Marines. 1/1 starts for Annyung.
1/1 finishes for Rain, just before Combat shields. Armory and Starport started by Rain.
Concussive Shells started by Rain, stim finishes.
15.00 Baneling speed started by Annyung. +2 attack started for Rain.
Infestation Pit planted down. Rain cleans up some creep. Annyung taking bottom right base and center base with three gas.
Pathogen Glands and 2/2 started by Annyung. +2 armor starts for Rain.
The massive amounts of lings and blings for Annyung catches Rain's infantry and demolishes absolutely all of it in spite of decent splits.
Morphing more banelings outside the natural of Rain, forcing a lift-off on the third. Busting the front with the banelings and run into the main, doing massive damage to the army of Rain before Rain finally pushes Annyung back.
Rain dropping the forward base of Annyung, and manages to take it out with nice control on the medivacs. 3/3 and Adrenal Glands for Annyung.
3/3 for Rain on the way.
20.00 Coffee's gone cold. Annyung catches Rain in the middle of the map again, with no siege tanks. Rain displays some nice stutterstep, but should probably pick up and run off. HUGE fungal go down on all but two medivacs, and they eventuall all fall down. Rain finally picks up and runs into his own forward third.
Annyung doesn't let rain rest and runs into his natural with banelings and lings. Decent splitting from Rain, but it doesn't matter. The supply depots fall and Rain is supply blocked, and as more and more reinforcing lings stream into Rains base, gg is called.
Annyung wins, Prime takes the lead 1-0!

Yeah, I just tuned in and was surprised because he sounds more, I don't know -- I like him tonight : D More than usual. I think with Artosis he feels more like he should take a backseat to Artosis's massive knowledge, whereas with other people he can be more forward and isn't so comfortable with them that he can just wander off on tangents like he and Artosis do.
I do love the archon, but yeah, having some variety is really nice too, they both work well with Wolf; I haven't heard them with Khaldor recently, that'd be interesting too. |
