With DreamHack Summer just round the corner, over at Cadred we've taken a look at who will be taking part at the event and given our thoughts on who the movers and shakers are likely to be. In a slight deviation from our usual previews we have divided the players up by nation.
An extract from the preview reads:
After an amazing weekend of gaming in Anaheim it’s now Europe’s chance to shine with the Dreamhack Summer Starcraft 2 Open. Here’s our run down of the big names, nation by nation, that you’ll be watching.
Last weekend was a time-zone nightmare for those European Starcraft fans who were brave and foolish enough to stay up and catch the action at MLG but this weekend is your reward. Dreamhack Summer promises to be one of the premiere events of the year for the Starcraft 2 community and it’s on a Euro friendly time-zone so if you couldn’t make it for MLG don’t miss out this time. The action kicks off on Saturday with the first of three group stages. These reduce the playing field from 128 down to just 16 at which point the single elimination bracket play takes over. You can find the full schedule here but until then allow us to introduce the key players being brought to you this weekend.

MLG Anaheim was really good but I know a lot of people are really psyched about this one as well. Going to be interesting to see what the community reaction is like as well.
Glad you enjoyed the preview.

exciting. Still think a koearn will take it, seems even the best of the non-koreans still struggles with even the average to good korean pros. Hoping for big things from stephano and sase, hoping huk nani and thorzain do well. Ill be rooting as always for white-ra but i dont really expect him to do amazingly |

Lol no? Naniwa is not an underdog vs koreans anymore, perhaps against DRG and MKP but to koreans in general he is not, not even against MC. Same goes for Stephano.Last edit: 2012-06-15 23:42:10 |

Naniwa always plays way below his standard at dreamhack though. T_TLast edit: 2012-06-16 00:23:25 |
